Shadows

i'm not
scared of the dark
but of the
shadows within
life does not give
them a spark
but they look
like gallows to hang me in
i see them
everwhere i am
anywhere i am they follow

im not afraid of
the dark
but of the ghastly
things i know
they parade me
through the streets
swaying me away from
those i meet
i hear the scampering of
little feet i know they are behind me

so i wont
look back
i've told you
im not frightened
because of darkness
sometimes im glad
i cant see
because i know
they arent people
the ones
who
follow
me

I have no
ispiration
i cant write a thing
i must go
on vacation
surf google or bing

i need to watch
a show
or listen to music
i need a splotch
of an idea to mow
over so i can be poetic

There once was a pot of gold
From a leprechaun of old
I stumbled upon it
just what I had wanted
my house never to be sold

My Lonesome Jubilee

We are dancing in
silence, gliding over the marble floor
in unison, you and I.
You're as delicate as a flower but
trust me,
I'll make sure you're never hurt
not one scratch,
not one wrong word will make you fall.
Just dance with me in this silence,
glide in these marble halls
and if I forget you, I'll be peakish.
So please don't let me
let you go.
I'll dance with you for eternity
because I am you
and you are me
and we'll live happily ever after
hand in hand,
our feet gliding purposefully
in these silent marble halls
on the beach but not touching
the sand.

I always rhyme I wanted to freeverse it was so hard i still want to fix it so it rhymes somehow... I have an issue.

can you sleep at night knowing what you did
can you sleep at night, can you? you bashed his head
using a crowbar.. your girlfriend was there. you act like you
dont know her... they say shes crazy and I know its your fault
but you smile at me from behinds those bars

like you dont even know who you are!
well i know and every time you laugh i see in red
red flashes burning buildings dead bodies you are a monster
of a man and you dont even know who you are
you dont sleep not at night

not at alll i know your secrets
that i keep because you and i are behind those bars
and you laugh but i cry i mourn the loss of sanity
but i taste chemicals everytime i breathe
so we cant sleep not at night

our vision blurs memories bite we cant sleep

Monster Inside

my hands shake and my bloodveins itch
my slender fingers bonelike twigs people hate
looking at me when they do i know what they see
im the monster in their closet pale with darkrimed eyes
but i cant even fit that description its not my style

im sorry im not what you wanted to see!
im sorry what the heck do you want me to be!!!
i look in the mirror i dont even like myself but go to hell
if you think im changing for you its not even close to true
in fact id rather not change at all freefall

ill freefall my long arms outstreched
feeling like an untamed wretch its better than
needing you go ahead and ask me whats wrong
i dare you baby come on come ask me what's wrong
you already know you caused me to go off dont get near me
im the monster remember im an explosive
waiting to go off

I'm Okay.

a block on my chest
feels like slow death
cant hold my head up
deep and small breaths

and hey where did the
weight go. I feel like I've
never known sadness before!
and why was life ever a chore!

Ugh, how did I wake up...
Why was life ever something
to smile about, I want to shout!
I should honestly just let it out...

and HEY I just woke up today!
I'm lucky it happened that way. I see
the sun and want to stay just a little
bit longer now, I see nothing but sky!

Oh god why!
Why me cant you see!
I cant take it!
This turmoil is breaking me..

Hey! Life is confusing especially,
if you are someone like me! So don't
look for bad! It will keep you sad. Even
when you are unhappy, look up !

Up at the sky, we'll meet you and I
We'll look up at the sky! We'll cry! I am the
stormy sea and you! You are a cloud we'll come,
raining down and when all the tears are out!

We'll heal! Like fairy magic! Erasing all
things tragic! The poison in our wounds. And
then, we'll soar on angels wings! Hearing how the
bluebird sings as we fly away, to be okay!

Poem 50

Call of The Wilted Flower

feeling like a weed in the garden of my dreams
something out of place pluck me i scream
pull me out of here and put me where i belong
not among the daisies nor the roses their petals are too strong
i cant hide among them lay me in the grass and dont bury my roots
give me water and i'll refuse lay me beside my garden lay me in
the street let all my crimes be pardened let no one rememer me
and if they call my name or see me where i lay tell them i was
brave please tell them i was brave

but no one will help me out of my shame
of the golden prowess i fail to reclaim and i hurt everybody
when i try to explain that im not happy and life is not a game
i struggle every week every other hour im just another wilted flower
and i too have thoughts that i shouldnt ive tried to hold back
and I cant and as i sit here in the shade i miss the suns glaring gaze
filled with cold and my heart burns im in turmoil my stomache turns
but even though i hurt im holding on
im still in my garden and im drinking sun
