10.

o my o my
o my o my o my soul

I haven't tasted honeysuckle since the fourth grade when I
moved down south I forgot that I longed for the taste of
something sweeter
-
I am but a simple creature

you give me a perfect picture
I am lost
somebody pinch her
we've concocted this perfect tincture
and now I can't wake up.

o my
o my how the water flows
it stays still
against its own will
'fore it knows

this concrete box this
fertile fox it moves-
the river sinks.

o my-
o my o my o my soul

11.

nothing short of wonderful
this life I have created
snow and dough and mistletoe and
hot anticipation

in this in between I see that
I am just too fast for me
so sit a while and study child
the grass is always green

one day it will be wonderful
I can already feel it
no more woe or moving slow or
rhymes that almost fit

it will be pure joy
no need to cover up the quiet with white noise
it will be nothing short of wonderful you'll see
just wait on me.
with love ((;

Just checking in NaPo Buddy! Hope you're doing alright ^^ you've kept nicely with the rhymes and neat little snippets of imagery woven with more narration-style lines. Good job!
