Hi so I've been meaning to comment something constructive but they're all so great. Normally I don't like when people post poems as images in the Publishing Center because then I can't quote in a review, but here I think the formatting is actually interesting and adds something to the piece. Like the pink and Papyrus font on "unpulled weeds" is just so obnoxious but it feels like exactly the sort of thing that would irritate the subject of the poem.
And "ungrown soil" makes me think of when I had to decide what to do with all my own journals while packing to move (I almost tossed them but ultimately decided not to. I had to try not to read them and just throw them in a box lol). Actually, I think that could be the subject of today's NaPo...
The sunsets one makes me think of this neat fragment I found in my deep-dive of old NaPos "maybe sunsets aren't silent after all". It's one of those lines that begs for something more, but what I do not know yet.
Not crazy about the religious one, but I do like the line "try to cut out constellations from the sky quilt".
