ode to bed
o my bed
why are you so comfortable?
you pull me in
wrap me in a warm hug
cradle my head
i sink in
and you wrap me tighter
caressing my tired body
always there for me
to cry to read to nap to sleep
o my bed
made of springs and cotton
my home of sleep
one of the best places for comfort
you lull me unconcious
i can't avoid you for long
humans' need for sleep is constant
refreshing us and reviving our energy
my need is great
and you love me so
o my bed
i love you so
you warm me when cold
wrapping me under layers of soft
like a mother's arms
cuddling a baby
this is so comfortable
i could stay here forever
oh, is that the alarm clock?
five more minutes...
