(This is a good time to have Skylar try to prove her fighting prowess against a powerful enemy without the help of others. A good way to create tension in a story in my opinion is to stack the odds against the protagonists, A.K.A. blasting Kai out of commission for most of the fight.)
Skyra risked a quick glance toward the school to see if Shinryu was all right. All she could see was the hole in the wall of the school. She could see a pile of desks and chairs with his sword sticking out of it, but that was it. There was no sign of movement in the classroom. As much as she wanted to see if he was all right she couldn't. It was up to her to keep the Tsurekin Agent busy until Shinryu could get back into the fight.
The wyvren opened its mouth again and red light began to gather from its throat. Skyra reacted almost immediatly, running into the forest to use the trees as cover. The Agent let loose its blast at the last spot it saw Skyra before she disappeared from its sight. The impact of the explosion tore up the ground, trees were thrown into the air in all directions. The Wyvren then proceeded to trample the forest in an attempt to find its target.
Skyra got out of the forest while the Tsurekin Agent had its back turned. She used this as a chance to sneak up on the huge lumbering beast and attack it from behind. She got to running speed and charged at the creature. When its tail came close to the ground she jumped on it and used it as a boost to proppel her onto its back.
She used the metal claws on her hands and feet to clutch onto the Agent's back. The wyvren let out a roar of frustration as it tried to shake her off its back. It tried to reach her with its arms and tail, but Skyra had landed on the one spot it couldn't reach. She jerked her right claw loose from its back before turning on its lazer function. "Let's see how you like this!" she shouted before slashing away at its metal skin with her blue lazer claws.
