"Of course," said Harry, "Oh and we'll need to take more portals to get to the office here."

Soul and Mage reluctantly nodded. They weren't excited about taking more portals, but they also knew they didn't really have an option.

After going through the aforementioned portals, the group finally arrived at the office. Mage and Soul lingered behind Harry and the others, knowing that they were far more familiar with the way this place was set up than Mage or Soul would be.

"Just umm... try to talk as little as possible unless you absolutely have to," said Harry.

"Yeah... trust us on that," added Jennifer.

The two of them nodded again. They weren't entirely sure if the point was to look intimidating, but both knew how to—even though Mage had lost some of his intimidation the moment they left their world. Half of his came from him being a demon on a world where demons weren't trusted.

Soul's, meanwhile, was still in full force. He wasn't short, and his all black armor made him seem a bit more dangerous than he actually was.

Harry flashed them a thumbs up.

Vankous promptly jumped into the conversation. "If you see a giant crab come to life in front of you. Start running. Don't ask questions. And most importantly. Resist the urge to recite poetry."

"It won't come to that," said Jennifer. "Don't let this idiot scare you."

Soul blinked.

"Why would we suddenly want to recite poetry?" Mage asked, bewildered.

"Long story," said Harry with a small shudder.

Soul and Mage exchanged another look. They had been doing that a lot, lately.

"...okay," Mage finally said.
