Emile got up and mentally prepared himself for existence. He wasn't very mentally prepared.

Neither was Remy, in all honesty. He was taking deep breaths as he walked downstairs.

Emile’s mom was making coffee. She was surprised to see Remy there.

“Oh-! Remy, what are you doing here??”

Emiles dad was playing Candy Crush on his phone "Emile, what did I say about bringing boys over without telling us?"

"Not to bring boys over without telling you, but I didn't bring him over"

"Then why is he here?"

Emile looked at Remy "..Do you wanna tell them or should I?"

“...”

Remy sighed.

“...my parents kicked me out last night.”

Emiles dad looked up from his phone

"Well.. you're welcome to stay here as long as you need to. Just dont do anything funky with Emile, if you know what i mean"

Remy blushed.

“O-Oh god, no.”

“Micheal, don’t talk like that... but yes, like he said, stay here for as long as you need. Im so sorry they kicked you out, honey, if you ever need to talk, just let me know, okay?”

Emile’s mom tended to call other people honey and sweetheart and stuff, in an affectionate way.

Emiles dad looked Remy straight in the eyeballs

"Yeah, you can talk to any of us about anything. Also, if you need blackmail on Emile, I have a folder"

"Oh, trust me, I probably know it."

Remy chuckled softly.

"He does seem to tell you a lot of things, but I have his baby pictures"

"Baby photos? Heh, may need to look at them some time..."

To be honest, Remy just wanted to get a reaction out of Emile.
