I totally had one of these before, once upon a time. But rather than dig up a thread that dates back to 2008, I think it's about time I made a brand new shiny one!

  • I'll review anything: pictures, poetry, and prose. I can't give an expert opinion on artwork, but for what it's worth I'll give you my general impressions and say what I can.
  • I won't write line-by-line critiques. You're all more than capable of using correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Instead I'll give my impressions on three areas that I feel need focus in your work -- if there is anything in particular that you'd like me to focus on then please make that clear in this thread.
  • I will find something constructive to say. I won't be mean, but I won't shower you in unhelpful adoration either.
  • Reasonable chapter lengths are preferred -- I'm a flighty character and can be easily scared away by a huge chunk of text. But if you give me enough time then I'm sure to get round to it eventually.
  • Finally, if you link me to chapters of a novel, please let me review them in order, starting from the beginning. I'd only make lots of annoying comments like: "Who's this guy? What's he doing? Why did she do that? Help!" and that's not much use to anyone.
N.B. As I haven't posted anything in a while there's no need to repay me with a review in return! But the moment I do, I'll update this thread just in case you guys feel you'd like to return the favour.

Charlie

Can I get a review on that? Thanks! :D

that's just a bit too sweet.

Is this up your alley?

If so, I will gladly review in return ^_^

Right here, bb.

Don't read the other reviews. I want an unbridled Charlie attack, despite the others.

Hello!
Please review my fantasy short story (contemporary, vampire...thing) : topic86215.html
We're all a little weird. And life's a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.

I would love it if you looked at both parts of the opening scene of my novel. The scene was so long I had to split it up in a bit of a weird way, so if you could read both parts before commenting I'd appreciate it. Feel free to breakup your review however you like.
