Well, I thought I'd offer my services for reviewing! :D

To give you an idea of what you're getting yourself into, here's what I generally tend to include in my reviews:

I focus on any recurring issues (dialogue, showing vs. telling, descriptions, pacing, etc.) and will link to threads from the Knowledge Base if apropos. I will nitpick a bit on any grammatical or spelling errors I notice, especially recurring ones. I'll give you an overview of what I liked about the story and what I feel should be worked on.

I don't know how soon I'll be able to get to any requests; it depends on life and school, and I might not get to it as quickly as you like, so please bear with me!

What I prefer to review:
Fantasy novels/short stories
Sci-fi novels/short stories
Action/Adventure novels/short stories
General fiction novels/short stories

What I don't mind reviewing:
Fanfiction novels/short stories - might not be accurate if I haven't heard of the story it's based off of
Historical novels/short stories - not a fan of American history, anything else is fine
Romantic novels/short stories- no graphic sex scenes

What I usually don't review:
Any sort of poetry
Lyrics
Art/photography
Scripts
Nonfiction
(I just don't have the knack for any of them, and cannot make as much of a detailed review as I'd like to, since I don't write much in those genres myself.)

This is my historical fiction opening to my novel, and I'd love some fresh feedback and a review on grammar, character and plot. If you're interested it's about WW2, but not Jews or things like that, but the role of a secret agent and an outcast British Corporal :)

Just so you know, it's rated 16+ due to strong language. If you don't want to review it for this reason, that's fine :)

Thanks Ranger,
~Ben

Hey, thanks for your last review. Could you do another one? Thanks, this one is shorter.
It's set in early 1950s Russia.

Ben: is there such a think as a war story without strong language? I don't think so.

*bump*
I thought I'd give this a go again, since I've had a bit more time for reviewing lately. First post's been edited accordingly. :) Ask away!
