Roaring Flames, Heathen Night

Requesting a review!

Should be quite simple as there are only 5(and a half) stanzas. I wanted a specialist on poetry to review it. This wasn’t really written with a distinct message in mind, so take that into account as you read this short poem I wrote in a few minutes.
“I stand above this all. For with every virgin kingdom, there is always an august king.”
