Today I installed the ability to list your gender on your profile! No longer will we wonder upon the genetic configuration of our fellow writers!

It's what you've all been waiting for. In your UCP, under Profile and then Edit Profile, you can now select Male, Female or None specified.

Sorry to disappoint all my male admirers who thought I was a beautiful young woman with flowing locks, but I am unfortunately 100% male.

Don't worry! Other male admirers will come! :o

Also, to the ladies of YWS:

Spoiler! :
HE HAS A BRITISH ACCENT.

The only problem with gender is that it shows up on the topics, and it looks a bit odd!

'Other' would be fantastic.

I would use "other" to maintain my gender ambiguity.

Don't feel bad, Jack's male admirers. *I'm* a beautiful young woman with flowing locks, and I'm 100% female. ;)

Wait, hasn't this always been a thing? Or was it lost in the recent revamp?

I'm confused...

Also, Jigseh is a Jigseh. This is incontrovertible fact.

I was temporarily male, I have no idea how that happened (but a good inkling).

Fortunately for all of my admirers this mistake has now been corrected.

I don't think anyone's ever mistaken me for a guy.
But I kind of felt like stating the obvious anyway

I think we already have an Other option? I know I'm set to other, or is it "none"?

There is a 'non-specified' option which was there before so yeah, there's an 'other' option.

I remember when I used to parade around masked as a boy to throw off the new members but none of that now.

From what a couple members told me, "none specified" didn't really feel applicable to them.

Anyways, Cadi has been kind enough to come up with new icons for male, female, other, and none specified. They should be in place soon enough.
