Hehe. That was fun. I just added a bit as well. :D

With the sample one, no. The sample is just an example of what I want it basically to do.

But once I get it written for YWS, you will definitely be able to make your own, and I want it to be done such that you can add more than just two options.

Choose Your Own Adventure stories are great! There were quite a few of those books written, actually..

Nate, you might also investigate some of the old text adventure programming, if you haven't already. The oldest pioneers were an absolute pain, but the later revisions might give you some ideas for more programming options.

I added my two cents. Thanks to Sureal for writing so much, and Nate for coming up with it.

Basically, Nate, this is going to be something like a hyperstory?

I'm very interested in seeing how this works out.

Thanks for the wiki entry David.

Brad, yep. At least I think a hyperstory is another name for it.

I decided on a format this morning, and might have even finished it today but I decided to go hiking instead. But, barring unforeseen problems, I should have it done by the end of the week.

The format could end up being very different from the rest of the forum, and it will be a little more difficult to use. But, it allows for potentially hundreds of options at each step, and you can even turn it into an RPG type thing.

That's freakin' awesome, Nate. I actually added something.

Although the font and color scheme are kinda blah, it's still pretty cool.

It's almost done! I have to do some basic formatting on it, but because I chose to do it wiki style, it took a lot shorter than I thought.

Right now, I can't see any reason why I wouldn't be done with it later today.
