Accessible via the Resources sub menu in the footer section of the site, a new cover art generator has been added to the Young Writers Society! Simply upload any image (the bigger, the better) to begin, and then the generator walks you through the process of first cropping the image and then adding the necessary text.

If you run into any bugs with it, let me know! It's not nearly as advanced as what you can achieve using an image editing program like Gimp or Illustrator, but it does make it a lot easier to create good enough looking cover art. Fairly soon, you'll also be able to attach the covers you create to the work you've uploaded to YWS!

Sounds pretty cool :D

I made one and I had it all nicely set out when I was editing it. When the 'save to your computer' screen comes up, with the finished product, it had cropped it so I lost the edges. My text had also gone to the right when I had clicked on center text.

It's epic, though!

Ooh, sweet! I'm here to give thumbs up and inform everyone that it works on iPad, as usual :3 I even tried it on phone - it's a bit tricky since it's tiny, but it works nicely there too!

Thanks, Nate :D

Now all we need is the option to add the covers to the folders/individual work c:

Awesome! I just confirmed that it works on Kindle Fire as well!

I've already made a cover based off a picture of my sister reading. The title is "The Reading Horror." XD
We're all stories in the end.

I think of you as a fairy with a green dress and a flower crown and stuff.

I think you, @Deanie and I are like the Three Book Nerd Musketeers of YWS.
