Ever wanted to easily share your profile and/or your blog at YWS with your friends? Now you can!

The simple urls are:

Profile:
~username

Blog:
blog/username

Remember, your username here is case sensitive! So for me, it'd be:

~Nate

blog/Nate

In addition, I'm going to be expanding profiles here soon (so that it's something you want to share). Once I'm done, html will be enabled on profiles, you'll have your latest five blog entries listed, and (this last one may actually not be possible) the option to highlight your choice of three of your literary works posted on YWS, which would then be displayed in your profile.

UPDATE: Added a "Share" section to My YWS. From there you'll find the links to use to your profile and blog.

The blog links don't work for me, but the profile links work very well.

Thanks, Nate! This certainly simplifies things.

Finally someone commented!

Not sure why it's not working for you because it is for me:
blog/David Guinness

Because of the space in your name, you'll have to copy and paste that into your browser.

For those who've noticed, the blog problem with respect to images has been fixed.

The blog simple url doesn't work for me either.

EDIT>> Also, you're going to want to change the url's for the links on the forum. I can't get to other people's profiles. ^_^

The problem was that I didn't put .com into the blog url in the post above.

As for the links to profiles, they shouldn't be affected, and I'm not having any problems. You may have clicked one when I was fooling around with it.

I see... I left out the .com part. That's all.

(You can hear whispers of people questioning the competence of the technology group moderator...)

Well done, Nate! This is great!

This is for sharing my blog with my friends? ... oh dear. Might be a good idea for me not to do that.
