Wink Murder

1. A murderer is chosen by the residing moderator in the room.
2. This murderer winks at people through pm and tells them how they died.
3. The person killed changes their status to 'BRB' and tells the rest of the participants how he/ she died.
4. The people alive must attempt to guess the murderer while the people who are dead can give clues.
5. If a wrong guess is made, the person making the accusation dies.
6. The game ends when the murderer is the only survivor or when he/ she has been correctly accused.
7. This game can be played with more than one murderer in which case it does not end until both have been discovered.

Guess the Person

This is a simple game that can be initiated by any member of chat. One person gives clues as to a member of YWS and the other participants must guess who it is. These clues are usually related to the member's name but can also link with other things known about them, such as the colour they use in the chat room or an association with a user-group. When the member has been guessed, the role of clue master can rotate to another participant or stay with the same person. Usually only members who are present in the chat room are used but at themed events or when there are few people present, the game can be expanded to include the whole site.

Cluedo

*This game has now been tested and edited accordingly* The rules are as follows:

1. The residing moderator makes (or uses existing) paper cards with these eighteen words on them-

Characters

Pat Buchanan
freakforchrist
The CCF
SPEW
Big Brother
Nate

Rooms

The Chat Room
The Lounge
The Information Desk
Non-Fiction
Dramatic Poetry
Science-Fiction

Weapons

Chatspeak
Typewriter
Bad Grammar
Paper Cut
Awful Puns
Plagiarism

2. These cards must be kept in their respective piles and then the moderator turns them face down, shuffles and chooses one from each at random. The moderator may see the cards selected as they will not be able to take part (I know, awful isn't it?) and then will divide the remaining cards between the participants, telling them what they have by pm.
3. The members will take it in turn to ask each other questions such as 'Do you have the Chatspeak?' and everyone around the table is allowed to mark it off.
4. When someone think they know the answer, they say so and the residing moderator will ask them a writing related question. if they answer correctly, they can guess. If not, play continues.
5. If the guess is correct, the game ends. If incorrect, the moderator merely says that the guesser is wrong and that person misses their next turn.

Please note that the writing related question is optional and the moderator may choose not to ask them in order to speed up game play.

That's all for now ^^

Chat Version of Apples to Apples

The administrator of this game begins by choosing an adjective. Participants then send a noun or verb that comes to mind to the "administrator". The administrator then picks a word to "win" the round; the person who submitted the round wins, and becomes the administrator for the next round.

Some cards
Intended so the "administrator" of the game needs only to copy and paste it into the chat window. Replace "name" with the username of winner.
