The link to the list of icons never has worked for me, but I looked around there today and did you know all of these icons are available for your enjoyment!

(they can also be modified to be larger, change color, or even spin!)

Code: Select all

Nate explains how to make them spin in this post -> here by adding "icon-spin" to whatever icon you're working with.

Code: Select all
[color=darkcyan][size=200][icon]smile icon-spin[/icon][/size][/color]
maybe i make up colors for poetic cadence, but i don't think i can ever love someone who doesn't understand that teal is a different color than dark cyan

Did you know you can turn an image into a link?

For example:

Code: Select all

Have fun with this one, guys!

Some people have asked me how to post text-based smileys without activating the emoticons or full-out disabling them, so I thought I'd share the knowledge! Below is an example of what I mean:

    :D vs. :D
    :) vs. :)
    :( vs. :(
    ;) vs. ;)
    :o vs. :o
    :P vs. :P

The solution is simple: interrupt the code! Simply insert [i][/i], [b][/b], or [u][/u] (or whatever BBCode you want, really) between the smile.

Here is a typed out example:

Code: Select all

I hope this helps!

If you want to test it out, feel free to drop some smiles on your wall. :)
if carina were a soda, she'd be a white claw. refreshing, but a bit alcoholic.

dare u to ask me a question in Ask an Engineer >:)

I won't try to summarize how to use the list code in this post, but I did want to share a link to the helpful guide that @Vincian made on the subject! Here's a link to an in-depth guide on everything list-related - from indenting to what symbol shows up in the list. It's really helpful, so I highly recommend checking it out! :)
