So, I am thinking about writing a story about the french foriegn legion. I am going to do it in a series of very short "novellas." It's a mystery/historical fiction piece. I have an idea for one scene, which happens to be a torture scene, and the heroe's introduction. (He shows up in a legion camp after wandering around in the desert. They rescue him, and he wakes up in the infirmary, where he then pretends that he lost his memory and has no clue about who he is.)

Spoiler note: the man's name is Dante Connors, he is the son of a wealthy French American business man and a Spanish gal. I think he's a pretty good fencer too.

Other than that, I'm at a loss. Anyone care to help pick my brain?
