Well, I decided to pick back up where I left off with my first novel, Soulless. The basic storyline revolves around "the war of humanity";a war being fought between the Followers (the evil minions of the Grim Reaper) and Guardians (Angels) over humanity. Obviously, the Followers want to kill all society and collect their souls, and so the Guardians were created to protect civilization.
Anywhozers, this is where my problem comes in. One of the main characters, Adam, is a Guardian. His twin sister, Eve, is a Follower. (Teehee xD It makes more sense in the actual context because there's a lot of family trivials that take sharp turns). In short, a bunch of stuff happens, and she uses her fancy scythe to put a curse on her twin brother. The thing is, I'm trying to figure out what the side-effects of the curse would be. I don't really want Adam to become Eve's voodoo doll, because that would totally suck and my story would be utter crap. But, just as an example, the typical depiction of a werewolf shows them transforming on a full moon. They can't control that; it's against their will. So, what if some sort of one time thing happens that Adam can't control? Something that sends him veering to a insanly evil catatonic state at - this might be too Cinderella-y - midnight.
I don't know; my ideas suck.
What do you think should happen?
