Angels screaming. Too-bright lights, a never ending desert, the uncertainty of your existence. Things that lurk in the night time -- right in front of you, waiting, but it's so dark that you will never see them...until it's too late.

It starts with a car hijacking and ends in Montana, with two robbed banks, three dead bodies, and a fuck-ton of mistakes along the way. Louie Wilson knew better, knew he should have ditched when he could, knew it was the wrong path for him but the right path to hell --

But when Owen Moss looks at you like that, you find that you can't make yourself say 'no'.

Besides. There was money involved. Money, and a manor. The grounds it rested on.

The Moss Estate.

The cross-country trek proves treacherous, mutinous, devouring; the two boys grow into two men, and perhaps only one of them will return; and who, after all, will receive the Moss Inheritance?
