Entrapped by a powerful curse, Nietta is now connected to the Reality Stone, one of the most powerful items in existence. The Reality Stone, when combined with its five brethren Infinity Stones, allows one to shape the universe in their image. Such is the goal of Thanos, her adopted Father.

Nietta now faces a choice: Follow the guidance of the Reality Stone and locate the five others entrapped by the curse alongside her, or follow her father to hunt down those connected to the Infinity Stones --just like her.

Characters

Work in progress
All ages are Earth ages

Nietta
Spoiler! :

Image*Add: Hair that looks like flowing lava*

Gender: Female

Age: 27

Sexual Orientation: Bi, but not looking for a relationship

Appearance: Nietta has auburn hair that is cut in a bob and seems to be flowing naturally, as is common in her species. She has coal black eyes and a sharp jawline. Her wrinkles and etches in her skin are actually cavities of her cooled lava, where you can see her insides. She is created out of living lava, and while her skin is usually pitch black with silver swirls, you get glimpses of the pulsing magma underneath at places. She is 5'5 and fit. She wears clothes that can withstand the instense heat she makes, usually black.

Personality: Nietta has been bred for war, and has a temper to match it. While she's usually able to stand back and investigate situations, she has a weak spot with authority and being questioned. She also doesn't like having to rely on others nor does she like being treated as inferior or a child.

Stone: Time

Power: Nietta can control her inner temperature to a point, allowing her body to heat up or cool down substantially. Additionally, she can control the magma inside of her body to a certain extent, mostly in her hands or in a concentrated area of her body. She is skilled in combat with small blades and has some stealth capabilities.
Imbued with the Time Stone's powers, Nietta has not gained much more ability to what she has. She has, however, gained the ability to "see" different outcomes of what could happen in some situations. She does not realize that she has gained the ability to see a few seconds into the future based on the decisions she was about to do.

Location: Unknown

History: Nietta's homeworld

Strengths:

Weaknesses:

Jyden
Spoiler! :
Image

Gender: Male

Age: 24

Sexual Orientation: Open for anything

Appearance: Jyden is tall and lean, on the somewhat lanky side. He has an undercut and his upper hair is twined into short dreadlocks. He wears long clothing that's usually black and loose on him. He wears a gold ring on his left hand.

Personality: Kind of a hooligan, he lives moment to moment and kind of shrugs off danger. He is also apathetic with most things. He just doesn't find things interesting anymore. His reactions to things are muted, and he has to do more and more dangerous things to feel something. He is aloof at day and a danger to himself at night.

Stone: Mind Stone

Power: Imbued with the Mind Stone, Jyden has gained the ability to gain a connection with the earth around him. Using that to his advantage, he can manipulate crystal to create a myriad of weapons or even bodies of crystal that he can control with enough concentration. He can also switch "bodies" so to speak, with the crystal hosts in order to control them.

Location: Earth

History: Since his early childhood, Jyden had to take care of himself and his younger brother while his mother worked three jobs to have a liveable wage while trying to put herself through some college classes so she could make a life for herself. He never knew who his dad was, but it wasn't really much of an issue for him until he got into middle school and started getting bullied by it. At first he started fighting back against these people, but when his mom said that violence isn't the way, he listened to her advice and just struggled through life. After a growthspurt, his bullying lessened and he was able to focus on doing right by his mother. He did everything for her, including actually trying in school and avoiding a lot of the influences from his peers. However, that isolated him in middle and high school, and he felt alone during his upbringing. After high school, he decided to focus on his life first and foremost. That meant a lot of hard decisions between him and his family, but in the end his mother was supportive of him and his life choices.

He left to start work as a singer in a local college music program. While not in college himself, he had worked with their theatre and music department for a few years while letting his voice shine. He didn't really settle in any one place though, and, itching to get out and experience new things, started looking for opportunities that spanned the world. His talent offered him a good opportunity in New York City. He worked with them for awhile, but again, he felt bored with life and restless to find something new to do.

Luck, was (maybe) once again on his side, as he was in NYC whenever aliens invaded the city and the universe got a whole lot bigger. Jyden became obsessed with this huge revelation, and realized that Earth knew about these extraterrestials and had some kind of plan in place to stop them. Superheroes were barely a thing in his mind before the events, but after he tried his hardest to join that world. He wanted to live life on the edge.

He recently joined a group of scavengers on the New York alien reckage, hoping to make a name out of himself.

Strengths:

Weaknesses:

Eira
Spoiler! :
Image

Gender: Female

Age: 21

Sexual Orientation: Never really thought about it, nor has she been given the chance to.

Appearance:

Personality: She has been taught to think about things logically. However, after recent events, that has created her to overthink things and become indecisive. She cannot often make decisions for herself. She is also quite unused to most things of everyday life. Because of that, she's now extremely self-conscious with herself.

Stone: Power Stone

Power:

Location: Asgard

History:

Strengths:

Weaknesses:

Skiroxa
Spoiler! :
Image

Gender: Female

Age: 20

Sexual Orientation: Demisexual

Appearance: Skiroxa is of average height, around 5'6. She has rounded facial features but a thin frame. She wears what most miners wear on Knowhere. Nothing particularly stands out because nothing is meant to.

Personality: Skiroxa is guarded and self conscious. She has a hardened shell, and has trouble trusting people who try to connect with her. She appreciates straightforwardness and people who try not to stuff their noses into everything. She is not good with confrontation, nor is she good with interaction in general. She tends to be blunt and honest with people she does talk to.

Stone: Time

Power: Skiroxa has never been a warrior, but she has been known to wield a miner's electric javelin well enough. She has modified one to overcharge its capacity, allowing it to lob out blobs of hardened electricity.

Location: Knowhere

History: Skiroxa is a skull miner in Knowhere, and has been since she was a child. Abandoned by her parents to Ravagers, she escaped her ship on Knowhere in a bout of drunken dueling and has found solace (as much as she could) in Knowhere.

Strengths:

Weaknesses:

Kace
Spoiler! :
Image

Gender: Male

Age: 23

Sexual Orientation: Straight-leaning but he's never really explored.

Appearance:

Personality: Kace has had troubles in the past, and his youth created him to be a hothead. However, when someone gives him stability, he is able to withstand things better. He still has anger management issues, especially when someone treats him like he's not important or a child. He is obsessive and compulsive, and suffers with constant addiction issues on most things. He is much a follower, though, and is loyal and trusting. He believes the best thing someone can give you is their willing trust, so that's what he does to people he believes has done so to him.

Stone: Soul Stone

Power:

Location: Xandar

History:

Kace is a Corpsman of the Nova Corps, and has been one for a few years. It isn't something he would like to do for a long time and only does it because of peer pressure basically.

Strengths:

Weaknesses:

Tyler
Spoiler! :
Image

Gender: Male

Age: 26

Sexual Orientation: Gay, closeted

Appearance: Tyler has short, dark brown hair with blonde tips, and lightly tanned skin. He has soft features on his face and sand colored eyes. He is tall for his age, about 6'1, and lean in body. He wears form fitting clothes and multiple layers, usually of autumn colors. He doesn't wear glasses (although he probably should) and he is usually seenwith his shoulders somewhat caved in.

Personality: Tyler is kind of antisocial, but he can also find the humor in things. He's the kind of person who is pretty observant and you wouldn't expect to be listening --you thought he was asleep-- until he cracks a joke. He craves people liking him, and him being appreciated and needed. He is the kind of person who will think of conversations in his head late at night and whether or not he said this or that right, and the conversation was years ago and about something inconsequential. However, he has a bit of a dark side to him. It sprouts up in apathy and thinking about things with how it affects him and that solely. He's very nosy at times, and he can get envious of people in better situations than him, since he's had such a hard time in life. However, he has been working on empathy and optimism lately. He constantly struggles with empathy.

Stone: Space

Power: Imbued with the Space Stone, Tyler

Location: Earth

Established Characters

This is a massive collection of most established characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Their pasts may be different, their lives may be different, and they may not even be in this story. This is an alternate universe to the main canon so anything is possible.

Iron Man / Tony Stark

Spoiler! :
Tony Stark has been Iron Man for more than a decade now, starting with a complicated mutiny within his company, Stark Industries. His former partner and handler of Stark Industries, Obadiah, secretly handled international business to transform Stark Industries' image into a warmonger in the Middle East while Tony Stark acted like a rebellious teenager. Opting to take Tony Stark out, Obadiah had a terrorist organization called the Ten Rings capture him and torture him. It was there where Tony Stark did die, but Iron Man was born.

After Tony Stark wrestled control back for his company, he was approached by Nick Fury about the Avengers initation. This mysterious man explaind that he was from a military division called S.H.I.E.L.D. and he was very impatient with backtalking. he became a leading force in humanitarian work while still suffering from PTSD. His company shifted from a weapons manufacturer to a technology innovator, while its founder became obsessed with his father's work when his life depended on it. While unearthing much of his father's old studies, Tony stumbled into something far more than he was prepared.

You see, Tony's father worked with possibly the first Earth superhero, Captain America. While doing so, he also worked with something named the Tessaract, a powerful energy source used by Hydra, a science division of the Nazis, during World War II. Both it and Captain America were lost before the war ended in the arctic ice of the Atlantic. Tony Stark then focused his attention on finding these two and continuing his father's research, but this time in a way that will protect the world. His thoughts aligned with SHIELD, or so he thought.

While experimenting with Tessaract, SHIELD activated something within it. What they didn't realize at the time was that an Infinity Stone was kept within. The Stone reacted to their experiments, imploding the facility it was housed in and killing all inside. Tony Stark confronted SHIELD are finding out about the explosion and how SHIELD was using its energy to create weapons again. Stark stole the Tessaract and kept studying it alone, claiming that it was lost in the explosion. He was introduced to Asgard then, and realized the true source on the Infinity Stones, and he vowed to keep the stone safe on Earth.

Tony Stark worked with SHIELD for a while until Loki, Thor's brother, invaded Earth in search for the Tessaract. SHIELD started the Avengers initative, and Tony took charge in leading them against the attack, where he almost lost his life. The Tessaract, once discovered still on Earth and in Tony's hands, was deemed too dangerous to keep on Earth and was taken by Thor, along with an imprisoned Loki, back to Asgard.

Nick Fury confronted Tony and kicked him off the Avengers initiative for his deceptions. Tony, in a state of deep depression and still suffering from PTSD with his near death experience, fell deep within his own mind and delved into the deep end on his research to protect Earth. He doubled down on his efforts to protect his planet from outside threats, with his main one to be an artifical intelligence commanding defense systems around the world. He envisioned a satellite network that would focus on being able to respond to threats anywhere in the world within minutes.

He approached SHIELD again, this time as a peace offering. He wanted what the organization wanted, and he felt that it would be in far better hands if said hands weren't his own. He worked with them loosely until he discovered Loki's Scepter, as it basically fell in his lap. He detracted himself from SHIELD's satellite project and focused his research on the scepter, believing it to be another Infinity Stone. He believed, finally, that he could complete his research, and he would not fail like he did last time.

However, a wrench was thrown into his plans in the revelation that SHIELD was corrupted by Hydra and used the satellite recognition technology to fearmonger the world, and would have killed millions if not stopped by Captain America, Black Widow, and Nick Fury.

After SHIELD was disbanded, its records were all made public knowledge, and Tony recovered his satellite technology blueprints. Again guilted by the possibility of hurting the billions of people he swore to protect, Tony scrapped the idea of a consistent monitoring program. Instead, he bettered himself and created stations all around the world solely for him. He could no longer trust anyone except for himself and what he's created. He struggled to create an artifical intelligence that rivalled his own mind and could substitute himself in protecting humanity alone.

However, Thor once again found out about an Infinity Stone being hidden on Earth and arrived there to warn them against the very real threat Infinity Stones give to the planet it's kept on. It's here that Tony first hears Thanos' name. However, Tony is adamant in finishing his A.I. because it can protect the world when he won't be able to. Tony rushes it, but does complete it. Once again, he hands the stone over to Thor.

Now he works tirelessly to prepare Earth for a war he knows is coming. With Nick Fury's assistance, he has established Operation Sword and Shield as a form of government that spearheads operations into the politics of the cosmos. He has reformed the Avengers Initiative with members all around the world, handing over leadership to Captain America. He formed the Illuminati with Doctor Strange, an ultra secret organization that tracks the whereabouts of the Infinity Stones and Thanos without making themselves known.

Tony now waits for his fears to come true, alone. He believes he must face Thanos alone, as he has always faced things. Alone.

Hulk / Bruce Banner

Spoiler! :
Bruce Banner is a scientist, first and foremost. Since he was a child, he was always interested in things that didn't quite make sense. He dedicated himself to gamma Ray testing early on in his career.

In a freak accident, he was dosed in highly lethal amounts of gamma radiation and he survived, but at a major cost. He was transformed into an ungodly mixture of himself and a beast called the Hulk, who is released whenever he's too angry or stimulated.

After barely learning how to control his anger, Banner left his science profession to deal with humanitarian efforts in developing countries, places he believed he would be hard to track. However, SHIELD did keep tabs on him, and they asked him to service to stop a potential makor threat in Loki, Thor's brother. He joined the Avengers as a ghost agent, there only when they absolutely need him and no earlier.
After SHIELD was exposed as a Hydra organization and destroyed, Banner realized his position was compromised

The Universe

Work in Progress

Our Universe is just one dimension in the impossibly massive Multiverse. This is only one path in a constant crossroads filled with infinite intersections. Certain people skilled with an understanding of the universe's frequencies can step through one dimension to another. However, it requires precision, discipline, and intense knowledge of probability, as there is always a chance one can step from a lush forest to an underwater sea, to a suffocating rock wall, or even the void of space.

The Locations

The Sanctuary II

The Sanctuary II is Thanos' command ship. Not to be confused with Sanctuary, a location in space ruled by the Chitauri, The Sanctuary II is a massive warship Thanos uses to exert his will. Filled with hordes of Chitauri warriors and weaponry, it is the iron fist Thanos uses to invade worlds and decimate its populations.

Spoiler! :

Earth

Earth is one of the many populated planets in the universe, but it is most notable for its large presence of powerful people, including the Avengers and the Sorcerer Supreme. It has attracted attention on a cosmic level with its initiative to defend and protect worlds against Thanos' cosmic genocide. With its population at around 7 billion, Earth is a bit of a newcomer to the cosmic scale of politics --at this point in time, there is still no officially unified government on Earth, with their population preferring to stay fragmented as an act of greed and power. However, unoffically, the shadow government Operation Sword and Shield, a covert successor to S.H.I.E.L.D., has acted as a temporary form of representation for Earth as a whole. By and large, though, the universe has ignored Earth with only small exceptions.

Knowhere

Knowhere is a thriving black market civilization inside a Celestial skull. As the resources inside Knowhere are seen nowhere else in the universe, it attracts people all around the cosmos searching for quick money or the intention of building a lasting empire. However, those who stay are those who are willing to deal with the darker side of deals. What resulted in an empire built on trickery, cheating, lying, murder, and, most importantly, knowledge. Knowhere is the place in the world if you want to find somebody, or if you want to become nobody.

Xandar

Xandar is the capitol of the Nova Corps and is home to many races because of that, but mostly Xandarians. With its population at 12 billion, Xandar stands as a hub for much of the cosmos around it. As it stands, it is at an unstable peace treaty with the Kree, another race with a colorful and mixed history with Xandar, to put it lightly. The Nove Corps, Xandar's most important accomplishment, is an intergalactic military force lead by the Nova Prime. It's self-created mission is to be peacekeepers in the universe as it expands its influence. However, before the recent peace treaty, the Nove Corps was mostly focused on the war between themselves and the Kree Empire.

Asgard

Asgard is not a planet, but rather a place in the vast of cosmos of large importance. It is one of the Nine Realms held together by the cosmic nimbus Yggdrasil. It is also largely the self-sworn protector of the other realms. Asgard is a mixture of advanced technology and Stone-Age'd living by Earth's standards (although there is a reason for that). Members of Asgard live longer than most sentient beings, and are physically stronger than most sentient beings. In addition, Asgardians hold a natural ability to draw power from the other dimensions, even if they do not know they're doing so. Some Masters of the Mystic Arts believe it is because of their form of travel via the Bifrost Bridge, but largely it is unknown.

The Magic

The fundamental truth of Magic in this universe is this: In everything, there is a push and pull. If you take, something must give. Using this information, one can then understand that nothing is ever created from nothing. Matter is manipulated, not created, and energy is drawn from sources. There is no one true way to dabble in the mystical arts; there are many practitioners of the mystic arts and in various different methods. There are also many powerful people instinctively reaping the benefits of the mystic arts without knowing it. These people are usually unstable and raw in their abilities.

Spoiler! :

The Infinity Stones

The Infinity Stones are six stones representing fundamental forces in the universe. According to many people, the Infinity Stones have been around since the formation of the universe. While this has never been substantiated, Sorcerer Supreme Doctor Strange has reported that Infinity Stones, besides sentient beings with understanding of dimension travel, are the only other things capable of transcending dimensions. In other words, Infinity Stones exist in multiple dimensions, and can travel through multiple dimensions. However, only one Infinity Stone of each can be in one dimension.

The Dimensions

The Dimensions are universes in the large Multiverse. Each one can be as small as a pen point or infinitely large. Most of the dimensions with sentitent life follow similar consistencies. Many are so similar that they are almost identical. We call those Core Dimensions, but there are many, many more smaller dimensions. Most of these smaller ones are focused on specific things, as practitioners of the mystics arts have figured out. Many of the smaller dimensions are sources of untapped power, as it seems they are less polished or expansive as Core Dimensions.

Spoiler! :

The Conflict

In such a large universe, there are multiple conflicts. Some span a world, some span a system, some span a galaxy, but the one we are focused on spans the very fabric of the Multiverse: Thanos and his constant hunt for the Infinity Stones.

The Plotting

All of this has been notes through various wfps, and are very spoiler-y so enter at your own risk! Also, everything here is subject to change day by day.

Chapter Outlines

Spoiler! :

Prologue Pt. 1

-Starts of after Infinity War's ending.
-Wong sends out a mystical distress signal
-Sorcerers all a
round him are disappearing
-He grabs a book and jumps through a portal just as he's starting to vanish
-The magic slows it, but he is still disappearing
-He jumps through dimensions, and the spreading seems to stop, but he was sloppy in doing so
-He ends up in a different universe, where he meets the Ancient One
-"We need to prepare"
-They gather a meeting in an ancient dimension that only Sorcerer Supremes know about
-Doctor Strange teleports in
-Wong hugs him
-Strange is like "wut"
-Wong steels himself and warns them about Thanos and the danger of him gathering all Infinity Stones
-The Ancient One brushes this warning off, saying that the Infinity Stones are a power all are warned not to tamper with using the Mystic Arts. What may come may come
-Wong disagrees
-He pulls out the book he took with him
-The others have never seen this book before
-Opening it, he says that inside is every documented note from his universe over the Infinity Stones
-He says that the power is unlimited, including access to the dimensions.
-If a Thanos from a dimension like Wong's, with a mind for death, stumbles upon dimension traveling, it could spell doom to the Multiverse
-The Ancient One paces the room, then stops.
-"There may be something we could do, but it would leave us vulnerable and requires a massive amount of energy."

Prologue - Pt 2.
-Center on The Ancient One and Doctor Strange in an alternate dimension full of revolving corridors and dimly lit caverns. Both are masters of the mystic arts, with Strange as the Sorcerer Supreme and The Ancient One as being revived from an alternate universe. They are here for a secret mission to make sure Thanos never gets the Infinity Stones, to prevent a future in which he saw for his dimension.
-The Ancient One explains that what they are about to do is something extremely dangerous and unknown in their lands of magic.
-They both come from a dimension/future where Thanos is actively hunting Infinity Stones/has already done so. He has gotten access and control to dimensions, allowing him to gain access to not just his universe, but the multiverse, which makes him infinitely more dangerous.
-They start the ritual but Thanos has entered the dimension, and the shock of it destroys their connection to nearby dimensions. Fighting spreads out, but Thanos has all of the Infinity Stones and wipes the floor oof the many Sorcerer Supremes there. The ritual, however, is being completed, and the Infinity Stones are ripped from his gauntlet, pulling the power from him and harming him.
-In any dimension where there are Infinity Stones, the spell works.
-Thanos slaughters the rest of the Sorcerer Supremes there and obliterates the dimension. Even though he's injured, he dons his classic smile. "Just a minor setback." or something along those lines.
-We open on Doctor Strange barely making it back to his dimension through the Mirror Dimension then the Quantam Realm with the aide of Ant Man. This is an alternate dimension before Infinity War basically.
-Strange gathers everyone he can and explains to them that they need to start looking for people across the universe and guard them.
-Comedy sketch when they're like "people? so just like anyone? no one in particular? that narrows it"

Chapter 1 - Nietta
-Follows Nietta as she wakes up on Thanos' ship
-She is fuming and burned through her bed
-She seems to be sick
-She leaves her room, and sees a vision of herself, like a phased out version of her, bumping into passing officers and she burns them
-She shakes it off and keeps walking, must really be sick
-She runs into the officers and berates them for being so reckless in the presence of a child of Thanos
-She stops as they pass, one of them needing to go get medical attention
-She shrugs it off as some form of PTSD from the battle with the Sorcerer Supremes
-She meets with Thanos as he is staring out the ship
-"Ah, Nietta. Glad to have you here."
-Nietta becomes increasingly nervous.
-"Are you feeling well, my child?"
-"Yes, Father. I will get over it."
-Thanos talks about his plan to start tracking the Infinity Stones. He will start at Knowhere to contact the Collector.
-Do not follow him. Danger
-Nietta clears her throat. "I think I am actually feeling unwell, Father. I will retire to my room until we arrive, then I will be by your side again."
-As she's leaving.
-No you won't. Never again.

Chapter 2 - Skiroxa
-Skiroxa is selling her next shipment of ore
-She goes to her normal buyer, but the place is closed
-This is strange
-She goes to the bazaar
-It's closed
-She checks a nearby console
-There's no news on it; shops are usually always open
-She mulls whether to go to the main street shops or not
-She decides to go home
-It's not a great place, basically a hole in a building that hasn't been filled in yet
-She dreams about moving away, but she can't get far without her own ship; mining ships are intentionally not made for open space
-She stuffs her duffel bag in her mattress
-She's stopped by her landowner right outside her place
-"I assume you're leaving to get my money, street rat."
-Skiroxa freezes, "The shops were closed today."
-Maybe you didn't look hard enough."
-Two brutish guys walk up behind her
-"I don't make that mistake."
-They grab her minerals from her mattress.
-She tries to stop them, but one of the guys restrains her.
-She pulls out her javelin and shocks the man restraining her and tries to grab the duffel bag, but the other man swats her away and the landowner just flashes a wicked smile.
-"Those are useless if you don't know who to sell them to!"
-"We'll see what the Collector thinks about that. I wonder if he's looking for another slave. He's not much into humans, but I'll let him decide."

Chapter 3 - Nietta
-Nietta runs into other Children of Thanos.
-There is a rivalry over who can gain favor for their father, and sometimes it gets ugly.
-Nietta groans as she reaches them.
-There is banter between them
-It's clear Nietta is not on her game
-Every single one of them will kill you if given the chance she reminds herself
-She sees the vision again, this time of Obsidian Cull choking her and smashing her into the wall.
-She braces for him, but nothing happens
-"Are you afraid something might happen, Nietta? We're not the ones you should be afraid of. You'll be going to Knowhere tomorrow in Thanos' stead to prepare accomadations for him."
-Nietta stares down Ebony Maw, and it looks like a fight is about to happen. Something stirs in her, and she turns to Scarlett Witch, who just entered
-Scarlett looks at all of them and they all bristle. It's apparent that there is some sort of hierarchy within Thanos' children and Scarlett looks to be at the top.
-She moves past the group with a small "you all have your orders"
-With that, Nietta leaves and retreats to her quarters
-She's starting to sweat
-She's wondering what's causing this sense of sickness within her; her species does not get sick often
-It is not your body that is sick, it is your mind
-Nietta pauses, but agrees with what she thinks is herself.
-She packs fast and goes to her personal Q-ship, which is deadly looking and personalized for her needs
-She orders a group of Chitauri with her, and heads to Knowhere.
-She vows to get the Infinity Stone before her father even gets there.

Chapter 4 - Kace
-Kace is doing a routine patrol on the edge of his system, and it opens up to static
-He's used to the patrol life, and there's a bit of banter over the speakers with him to his two friends, who are also patrolling
-They're like "Is this what you wanna do with your life, patrolling all day long?"
-Kace is like "yeah I'm perfectly comfortable with that"
-Inside he's like "I was never prepared to be a soldier, that was your guys' idea"
-Then, his patrol officer tells them that there's some kind of disturbance in a local asteroid mining facility
-They go to investigate, and the facility has gone silent
-They explain that mining facilities automatically go dark if they want to contact local Nova enforcement, it doesn't mean something terrible has happened
-The patrol of four officers landed on the facility and they start investigating
-It seems really silent there, like there's not even people there
-They describe the place a bit
-The patrol leader says to get to the control room, and to initiate a camera inspection. They'll get more work done there than by spreading out and searching themselves
-Kace is internally freaking out, as he realizes he isn't prepared for anything more than patrols, and suddenly this has gone to an investigation
-He suggests that they call for back-up
-His leader is like "Yeah I did that before we came in here, but as first responders, it is our duty to inspect what's going on here until reinforcements come"
-There doesn't seem to be signs of forced entry, and everything seems abandoned
-"Has this mining facility been abandoned?" Kace asked
-"It's been active for awhile"
-They round a corner and
-SURPRISE it's a birthday party for Kace
-In his mind, all he can think of is him shooting the person who was there.

Arc Outlines

Spoiler! :
Arc 1 - In the Hands of Six
-The story and conflict is introduced
-Thanos has successfully invaded multiple universes and gone through with his plan of wiping half of sentient life away from existence, or even worse, in all of these dimensions.
-Sorcerer Supremes gather from multiple dimensions in a last-ditch contingency effort to prevent one person or peoples from having too much power (like the power to shape the universe)
-A powerful curse is enacted, one that spreads the Infinity Stones to corners of the universe and attune them to a seemingly normal person with a soul that mirrors the soul the stone. Only the attuned person can find these Infinty Stones.
-The arc is focused around Nietta, once-Child-of-Thanos turned defender of the Infinity Stones, although there are six MCs.
-It is a cat-and-mouse story between Thanos, Nietta, and the other attuned, with smaller conflicts thrown in the mix. Things are escalated quickly, as Thanos has gained knowledge of dimensions, and the ability not to pass through them but to destroy them
-Our characters are together about halfway through, and meets together on Earth to discuss what to do with the Avengers and the Sorcerer Supreme.
-The climax is an ambush on Earth by Thanos, when he reveals that he has been keeping a close eye on his child, Nietta, the entire time, and he has caught onto their curse. Why try to find the Infinity Stones all over again when your loyal daughter has brought them right into your hands.
-The arc ends with Tyler's death, Nietta's capture, and the others badly injured. Thanos himself is defeated and retreats, but now finding himself in possession of one Infinity Stone. It closes out on his iconic grin.

Arc 2 - In the Order of Infinity
-The story opens back with Nietta on Thanos' ship, being tortured. Thanos does not want to kill her for her Stone, and knows that there must be another way to do so.
-The others are regrouping their efforts, but unsure and confused, discord begins to set in amongst them.
-It's clear that it's too dangerous for them to remain together, let alone on the same planet. Frustrated that their opinions are being ignored like children and defensive, the group argues this decision, saying that the only people who can defend them are themselves. It would be far worse for them to separate and Thanos pick them off one-by-one than them to fight him off together -fail or succeed.
-A decision is made by those left of the Avengers: make a defense initative for the rest of the Infinity Order -as they start calling themselves-.
-However, something is off, as Doctor Strange warns them in the middle of the night that there is a traitor in their midst.
-It is too late, though, as Thor takes Eira away and Skiroxa leaves with the Guardians of the Galaxy.
-The Infinity Order is destroyed as quickly as it was created.
-However, there are plans in the making to bring them back together. A secret group of superheroes step in to bring the Infinity Order back together, preferring to hide them from everyone, even themselves, but together.
-The Infinity Order themselves also have a plan to rescue Nietta.
-Nietta also has a plan to escape, aided by another Child of Thanos who defects.
-Nietta is the one to act first, escaping Thanos' grasps to Knowhere, where she accidentally meets up with Skiroxa.
-Nietta ends up backstabbing the Child of Thanos who helped her escaped and kills them under the thought that Thanos could easily be leading her on again.
-Eira, who just reached Knowhere to meet up with Skiroxa, saw the brutal murder, as did the Guardians of the Galaxy.
-They end up meeting at Knowhere, where Eira confronts Nietta, telling her she must escape to Asgard, as Thanos would not be happy that a Child of his has been killed. Better for him to take his wrath out on Knowhere with them gone.
-They meet at Asgard, to be intercepted by Thor, Iron Man, and Kace. They are to be brought to trial at Earth.
-Events spiral quickly out of control, as tensions escalate and secrets are revealed.
-It's clear that sides are being taken. An all out civil war has begun.
-Transition to Thanos hearing the information that his child was killed in Knowhere. He says to kill them all. He needs sacrifices to bring back his loved one. To bring back Hela.

I have a few questions in order of importance:

1. Where is Tyler's personality description because I need it.
2. Why is Tyler listed as Tyler's only weakness.

Also. I know I said it before but I really like the idea of people being connected to the stones. You said that it's like, they're the only ones who can find the stones but I was wondering what it looks like for the stones to "lead" them to the stone. Is it like, they get dreams? They have a feeling? Is it just instinct/intuition? And if they're connected to the stones does that mean they can wield them in any way or are the only "benefits" of the curse being able to find the stone?

Or... does the stone like, fuse to them or something? Lol, just thought I'd spam you with questions and... I'm staying away from a lot of the spoilers even though I know a lot already but yeah idk if you've explained any of this at all but uh... YEAH.

OH ONE MORE. IF only one stone can be in each dimension, how do will Nietta or Thanos travel dimensions? And... dimensions aren't the same as alternate realities, right? I always get confused with that sort of thing.
Pants are an illusion. And so is death.

@soundofmind thank you for the questions! I think they're all really important ones to ask ^^

As a sidenote, I had actually just finished all of the personalities in my notebook last night, right before I fell asleep haha.

1. Here is his personality!

Tyler is kind of antisocial, but he can also find the humor in things.

2. That is a mistake xD that part was supposed to be an extended bio for people beyond the weaknesses. I haven't actually gotten to writing out their weaknesses, but you can definitely draw them from the personalities now.

3. Wow this is a wonderful question(s) xD. So, basically, each Stone is not in this "dimension" at the moment. I could explain more, but like you said, you're avoiding spoilers. As to how each one will eventually reach their Stones (if they ever, at this point), it's going to be unique to each one, but you hit a lot of the aspects of it.

As for "can they wield the stones" that is most definitely a spoiler :P

4. They are NOT fused with the Infinity Stones, which is an important part of the story. Thanos believes they are, and even the MCs believe they are at points, but these people are only connected with the Infinity Stones, and can use their power because of that connection. If the connection was lost, for example, then they would no longer have these powers nor would they be able to use the Infinity Stone in any way, unless they had something like the Infinity Gauntlet to carry them.

5. So, alternate realities ARE dimensions, in this case. I'm sure the Marvel comics are A LOT more complicated than this, but that's how I'm interpreting this. Alternate realities are different Core Dimensions (as explained above). Core Dimensions are all very large and all pretty similar, except for minute differences. The smaller dimensions, which I'm calling Minor Dimensions, are the ones like the Mirror Dimensions or the Doom Dimension, aren't fully formed, like the Core Dimensions. They usually only have one purpose or consistency to them. At least, that's how I'm defining them to avoid making it too complicated lol

As for how they'll travel dimensions, that is if they even can. So far, the only people capable of traveling dimensions are those highly trained in the mystic arts. But, if they were able to, then the Infinity Stones would be in a constant struggle with each other over which one "exists" in that dimension.

Hope that answers your questions :P I tried to not get too many spoilers in all of them.

AAA BLESS U FOR THESE ANSWERS!!

So like, does that mean there's for example, a version Nietta in Tyler's universe that isn't bonded to her stone?

Also highkey Tyler is even more my fav now thANKS. And HIGHKEy excited to see how each of them may or may not get to the stones via their special connection. Though I have a feeling Tyler might not make it to his.... >:( *squints at u* (Maybe later? MaYBE)

And ooo it's interesting that Thanos believes they're fused to the stones. Is that b/c of how Vision came to be? He was like, part of the stone and part computer and it's really complex idk how technology works.

Also idk i found it kind of amusing that Tyler was listed as Tyler's weakness... it's like... MY WEAKNESS... IS MYSELF

gosh dang it I'm to slow to claim my dibs on first poster *SQUINTS AT @soundofmind* lol jk luv ya'll keep doin' wat ur doing

So, as ya know, I've already combed through the important points in WFP, and it's kinda pointless to ask the same questions lol, so here are some other points that came to mind:

  1. If I remember right, I remembered reading about Tyler on one area of your summary thinger, and it's when he goes -- enspoilered for SPOILERS--
    Spoiler! :
    x_x DED

So that leads me to my question: does he play a bigger role than this, or is he a character whose role is, to, you know, just have x-eyes? He's probably more important to the plot, but I didn't read the spoilery version cuz yeah SPOILERS, but I just wanted to make sure that he actually has a role. I just didn't remember seeing his name until then and it's like, "oh ok byyyyye Tyler u r missed"

  2. I asked you this before but I don't think I got a clear question, so: are the rest of the actual Marvel characters canon? As in, you're taking Iron Man and Thor and Hulk and everyone else and making sure you're using their story lines and personalities from the original source. They do seem pretty important in the story with their appearances, so I'm kinda curious to know where your story would lie corresponding to the other movies. Like, would this be before Civil War? Or before Infinity War? lol still need to watch these, but if I know where your story takes place chronologically, then I'll better understand it by watching the movies beforehand ;)

uM okay I think that's it for now but I might ask more later heh heh heh

Haaaaai, just making a round to look at all the LMS threads, now that I finally made my own totally at your and Sae's request, else I would've kept it quiet until the LMS began, y'know, 'cause I'm just another miserable little pile of secrets, but yay! This is...!

...Vast. Well, it's to be expected, considering that it's a fanfiction related to the hunt of the Infinity Stones, but I'm glad to see how vast this truly is - mostly 'cause it means you'll have a lot to explore of the Marvel Universe, and y'know, you'll have a lot of character/power development to deal with your characters.

•I kinda like the team of characters you've got for this, speakin' of which. I assume they'll be travelin' on the same ship for a while, right? Are they supposed to ever get separated for certain missions, or are they always gonna stick together, gradually learning to use their powers as they do?

•I also wonder if they'll get to meet the other characters of the Marvel Universe as antagonists, rivals, or helpers, come to think of it, buuuuuuut I suppose that falls in the Spoiler realm XD

That being said, good luck with the world-building, m'dear! I'ma check the other threads, in the meantime. Take care!

@soundofmind No problem! Your questions give meeeee life <3

So, for this story, everyone is in one dimension, but you point out something very interesting that I hadn't thought of: what about the versions of these characters in different dimensions? Are they also bonded, like you said? And then, I thought about it. SO I came up with a solution, but it issssss spoilery so I'mma put it in a spoiler thing ANd only read if you like really wanna okay?

Spoiler! :
Soooo, I figured out a reason why these people were chosen: they were flaws in the system, so to speak. Basically, I was thinking that there's really no way for every single version of these characters to be bonded to their respective Infinity Stones. So, what if they're the only ones of themselves? That means there's no other version of them in any other dimension, which funnels into another spoilery thing in the future that I really can't talk about because it would spoil SO MUCH

Tyler is cool! Fun fact: in my original version of this story years ago, he was my main character out of the six. He was, and still is to a point, based around me and my personality. Another fun fact --this original story actually had myself and my friends as OCs in it, as cringy as that sounds. It was basically a whole idea around the question "what would you do if you had an Infinity Stone" and of course my answer is GO TO WAR or write a story about it. You choose xD

I know, from my plotting notes, that it seems like Tyler isn't gonna get a lot of screen-time, so to speak, but rest assured that he really is going to get his time and his subplots and all that fun stuff before the Act 1 finale. There might even be a romance or two involved????? I am normally terrible at romance subplots but I really want him to have a romance. Everyone of the six are main characters, even though the blurb is focused around Nietta. (I actually lied with the blurb mwahaha but it read better so that's what I used). So, all of them are going to get their deserved screentime. It might not be even, because this is LMS and I dunno where I'm going with this in the long run but yeah now I'm rambling lol.

So, for the beginning Thanos doesn't suspect anything, but he's always one to not trust people and he tracks Nietta's every movements. He's not a dumb person, so he could connect the dots. It'll also be explained later but Thanos was there when the spell was enacted so he understood that something happened to the Stones. He still tracks them the traditional way, but he also goes about it in different ways (like torturing a Master of the Mystic Arts to get information among other things. He gets seriously dangerous here). You also raise another point that I don't think you intended to but I'll talk about it later XD

If you think about it, people's weaknesses really are themselves, in one way or another! Your body and mind can do amazing things, but it is also what limits us from doing certain things.

@Carina wow u were so late ill never forgive you

So I answered this at soundo's area, but I'll reiterate it --all six of my main characters are, well, main characters. The blurb was based around Nietta's POV because I'll be starting out the story with her, but everyone will get their screentime, storylines, and subplots in the first arc. I already have an idea of what I want to do for four out of the six (I am lacking on the Earth dudes, go figure) and even how'll they will eventually meet each other. My first arc really isn't plotted out well at this moment; it'll actually be a larger story than the second arc, if that gives any perspective. There's going to be a lot going on here with each character. It's really like the first arc for the MCU. My first arc is going to be them coming together, second arc is going to be them going through setbacks, and third arc is going to be them torn apart etc. etc. that's a really rough idea but you get what I mean. Tyler will be as important as any of my other MCs, so the gut punch will actually be a gut punch (hopefully) and not just an "oh rip" kind of moment.

Oh boy, this question. You give me headaches sometimes, Careenee xD. So, short story: Yes, but it's really complicated. I will be giving them their own part in the "Character" section, with backstories and probably a short paragraph on personality. It'll basically be "their story until now" kind of wrap-up. You see, I'm following these characters, but I'm not following the storyline the MCU has set up. This is its own dimension/universe, so the whole scenario building up to Thanos is different. Which means, their stories will be different. Some people won't even be in this universe (I'm thinking of Nebula, Vision, Quicksilver, maybe some more/less scenarios.) This is the part that is really draining my worldbuilding attention at the moment because, well, there's such a history there with these characters, and I have to decide what I want to keep, change, and get rid of. To compare it to the MCU, these events would happen both before Civil War (in terms of how the teams are still there) and before (in terms of oh crap Thanos and their power levels) Infinity War, to set your expectations. Also, they will play a fairly important role in the stories, but not to the point of detracting from my main characters. To be clear, they are supporting roles, and that's it.

@Tortwag YAY I still need to read your thread (I've been busy cri) but thank you so much for commenting here!

Okay, so there will be a point in time that my characters are all together, of course, but a lot of this story will be them in different pairings or different groups or even on their own. They don't really become a team until the end of arc 1. And, I did explain this a bit above, but they do meet other characters of the MCU. Obviously Thanos will be in here, but they do interact with established characters fairly often. Of course, they still supporting characters, though, so it won't be any scene stealing moments (mostly xD)

Thank you everyone for your questions! I'm still accepting questions ^^

@Omnom I am shocked. SHOCKED BY YOUR TREACHEROUS PLOT OF BUSY TREACHERY
You're welcome, m'dear! Aside this being, y'know, legit interesting and all, it's only natural that I'd start with you! ...Which sounds a lot more stalker-y than I wanted it to, come to think of it.

Gotcha, so, it's mostly separation, character development, then regrouping. Got it.
Yes, you didn't explain that, but I wasn't exactly sure how that would, y'know, affect them in the long run. (And yes, silly me, of course, they'd interact with Thanos, I should've kept that in mind, lol).
Yeeeah, gotcha XD Well, they better not steal the scene too often, but hey, if you're able to write for them like a badass, totally do that anyway XD

IT'S ME I'M HERE FINALLY!! I'm sorry I'm fashionably late to the party traffic was really bad.

okay so I've made notes as I read through it so it might not be consistent but here we goooo

Tyler!! He's my favourite already haha though I think I saw at some point Sound saying she likes him too? he's popular already. I relate to his personality oops.

I mean, my favourite description is the one for The Illuminati. :D

Okay so I know you'll probably edit the character's information and stuff, but I'm still going to complain. I'm a little confused about Skiroxa's history? You said she's a skull miner on Knowhere and has been since a child, but that she escapes her ship (The Ravagers ship?) also on Knowhere and then stays on Knowhere? I'm probably just reading it wrong I'm sorry I just wanted to clarify that.

You mentioned that this started from just asking what you would do if you had an Infinity Stone and then kinda like, drawing inspirations for the characters from your friends and that's really cool?? I really like that!
I love hearing the origin stories of...y'know, stories haha.

Since you mentioned the stones only being able to exist in one dimension at a time, is there any conflict for the six being in the same dimension? Obviously they get together, but does it cause any weird side effects or tension because of it? (or I could have just misinterpreted this in which case oops)
I believe in a universe that doesn't care and people that do.

You and I, we are matter, and it matters.

@scribbleinks I just came back to enjoy you saying "I'm fashionably late to the party, traffic was really bad."

I want to steal that. Can I steal that? Please, tell me I can steal that. I want to be fashionably late, too. I promise to give credit if used

@scribbleinks sorry for the delayed response!

Yeah Tyler is pretty popular lol it's kind of ironic that I have him the least thought out like story-wise. WHICH MEANS whoops we won't see him for awhile lol.

You can thank @soundofmind or @Carina for that one (I forget who did it xD)

None of these histories are actually concrete or complete, but my idea was that Skiroxa escaped the Ravagers to Knowhere and she's been living there ever since.

I don't believe there would be any other consequences besides "unlimited" power when all of the Infinity Stones are together. Technically there's six Infinity Stones in all developed dimensions, but there can't be two Time Stones in one dimension, for example.
