Hi. Does anyone know of any objects that symbolise ww2? I'm thinking that tiles are one, but i'm not so sure.

Does anyonne have any good websites for objects that are simbles during the war? Also, for kicks and grins, i'd like to know for the Cold War,too.

I tried looking it up, but didn't find anything trustworthy.

Are you looking for symbols in use at the time, or symbols that came to be tied to those wars after the fact. Also, for which sides?

For example, the swastika was used during WWII to symbolize Nazi Germany, and it remains a symbol closely tied to WWII, so it's an example of both. Uncle Sam was a heavily employed symbol during WWI, however, he's been used in so many other contexts, he isn't tied to just WWI, so he's an example of the former but not the latter.
