The forum description is not entirely accurate because at certain points there are a lot more people on the journey, they just don't stick around for the whole plot line. The plot circles around these 6 creatures, which are in the nicest stating creatures.

The main character likes to describe her day as "working a 9 to 5 job, coming home to get food and weapons, and then starting the 5 to 9 shift." Serial killer is a loose term to describe what she does under the cover of darkness. Revenge is one word and boredom is another. The daytime job is for the magic equivalent of the CIA, where half the agents are undercover in mortal agencies.

Ghosts
There are three main ways to classify the behaviors of ghosts: good, bad and neutral.
-Good ones act as guardian angels to the people living in the house they are linked to. Mostly this is because they were killed in the house, saved by someone in the house or committed suicide in the house.
-Bad ghosts are not full on evil, which is a classification but rarely used since the 1960s when most of them were destroyed. They're more of pranksters than anything else, having a good time at someone else's benefit.
-Neutrals just float around for the most part and are never discovered unless something in the place they haunt is disturbed or they see a fight they want to break up.

From here there are many types of ghosts, the type being there place of origin (purgatory, heaven, hell or the magical limbo), can/can't move between different locations and if it exists as an image/a ghostly form/a half completed body/un-distinguishable from a human. Another sub branch is possessions linked to furniture.
