This is a thread where I will document inspiration and reflection/direction for my LMS novel, Mother of Exiles. Do you reeeeally want a synopsis?

I'd rather just tell you it's my form of the coming-of-age story exploring struggles with sexuality, substance abuse, emotional abuse, loss, and how the human spirit remains constant beneath every bit of it.

The MC, David, will be heavily inspired by things he sees in nature, so expect a lot of tumblr shots here.

It's "my" "first" "novel" since I was 16 so...eyeroll. YOU CAN LAUGH WITH ME ABOUT HOW LOW THE QUALITY IS AHAHAHAHA.

You can find more LMS here.

This one is simple, but I feel like it'll be a recurring image as, in my head, David has a videographer/photographer's artistic gaze.

What a piece of work is a man! How noble in reason, how infinite in faculty, in form and moving how express and admirable, in action how like an angel, in apprehension how like a god -- the beauty of the world, the paragon of animals!
— William Shakespeare
