Working title: guardians of nature
Genre: magical boy/ action adventure
Premise: 1000 years ago, a compromise between the Blight queen and the Grand elders of magea came into being when Bildora wanted to find a new home after her homeworld was devastated during an intergalactic between elder gods. Life on Magea went smoothly until Bildora began to colonize beyond the expected boundary imposed by the deal. The effects of the terraformation caused shifts both earth and magea which almost transformed them into barren wastelands. Thankfully, a group of powerful defenders called the Gea’kai warriors came together to vanquish the Blight queen and banish her off into another dimension in order to sort things out.

1000 years later, Bildora has finally escaped her prison and vows vengeance for those who wronged her by colonizing earth out of spite. In order to impede her plot to colonize earth, ter’aia, goddess of earth, had reawakened the dormant bracelets which contained the essence of the Ani’kai (powerful nature spirits). She sends them off to find 5 people who are deemed worthy to wield the ancient power stored within them.

One of the bracelets, the spirit bracelet, ends up in some antique shop where it's uncovered by a boy by the name of John archer. Unknownst to him, the bracelet has deemed him ‘good enough’ to become one of the new Gea’kai warriors. Now john must unlock the full potential hidden within the bracelet to combat the forces of the Blight and the various mythical beast coming from the multitude of interdimensional portals opening up on earth. Over the course of the series, john with the help of chesnut, seek out others who’ve been deem worthy (or at least good enough) to become Gea’kai warriors.

Sounds like a plot for a Power Rangers/Super Sentai series to be honest. It's not too bad. I can imagine it happening.

Well at the surface it is but I ,kinda wanted to be more of a somewhat gray take on the genre.

It's very different in tone, but have you ever seen Cute High Earth Defense Club?

If you haven't, I recommend it. It's funny, has a decent plot, some moral ambiguity in the designated villains, and is very much a magical boy series.
Secretly a Kyllorac, sometimes a Murtle.
There are no chickens in Hyrule.
