Hey!
I'd really appreciate hearing what you guys think is the best lastname :)
Also if none of these surnames sound good or fit, do you have any other ideas for a surname? I'm having such a hard time finding last names that go with Elodie...

Hmm, well, I don't know a lot about your character to start off with. Sometimes surnames can have a lot of symbolism - if she suffers in the story yet develops as a person, Hope would make a great surname. If you're going for a pretty name, Bell or Swan would make good last names.

Here are my own personal opinions on each of the names (and me trying really hard to find fault with them)

Elodie Swan - Has a nice ring to it but makes me think of Bella Swan...
Elodie Love - I personally don't like the repetition of the "L" as it doesn't trip off the tongue quite so well
Elodie Hope - One of my favourites
Elodie Black - Again, I don't really like the repetition of the "L"
Elodie Bones - I personally don't particularly like the last name "Bones" unless you're going for something a little Gothic-sounding, in which case this is perfect!
Elodie Gray - I quite like this one
Elodie Blue - The two "L" sounds make it a little harder to say
Elodie Bell - Out of all the "L" ones I criticised, this one's the best. But it depends on your character

So overall, I'd say Elodie Hope or Elodie Gray. :D

I do agree with steam's suggestions. I don't really mind Elodie Bell, but it sounds too forced to me. I think it's just personal preference - names are tricky to decide on (unless you end up with David Davies or something, in which case, you'd want to avoid that).
In my opinion, I think Elodie Gray is a good one. Repetition is non-existent, yet it rolls off the tongue very well.

I think Elodie Bell and Gray sound the most realistic. I don't think I have ever met someone with the last name Blue haha

The reason I didn't vote for Elodie Bell was because the repetition of the sound /el/ sticks out. But if you like the feeling that repetition gives you, or if Elodie Bones fits into the world without sounding strange, either of those work, too. I just voted for Elodie Gray because it sounded most believable. ^^

I've decided on Elodie Bones even though most people wanted Elodie Gray. I just feel like Bones goes with the story really well and gives it that kind of gothic/dark feel. Thanks for voting :D
