theyouth says...

hey - just discovered webrings.

if you're familiar with the 'New Wave(not really tho)' post, the idea is akin to that, yet something more.

not websites just connected, but interacting with one another.
coordinating amongst themselves.
creating something together.

creating what? well... for example - here's what I posted on http://www.blondyn.com today; maybe this will help explain.

special note: you don't have to click the link.

I posted most of the | UNIVERSE | entry in this thread here, but if you do click the link, you will be able to see the picture more clearly.

| UNIVERSE |

12 11 2014

i know right?
woke this morning, felt all broke inside.
muscles tight by sunrise light shining through falling flakes of snow, all before buildings and gray gray sky behind.

looked on the buildings, tho.

“onward,” he ordered.
“onward on to buildings with our natural flow, that whatever-thing we do..."
ran into kym right then.

"hey kym."
coat and boots.
all she wore.
killed me then born, asked if she was coming by the concert.
shook her head no.

couldn't believe it.
could see past her sharp collar tho.
she was up to something.

“ah but babe,” i said, still bent out of shape. “the dj booth true a fit most befit for two...”

one by one, she looked on her five rings like each was candy.
seemed to be wondering which he could afford to replace.
new york honeys as these, forever out of reach and with a lease on real peoples lives.

"yikes."

looked again.
thought again.
those boots.
that coat.
all good looks between.
the answer to the universe, right there before me.

"yikes," i realized a second time, as reaching into pocket.
“damsel put a man on pennies and dimes," i said, "and how she break 'em so quiet...”
showed my business card then.

“this my last one,” i said.

kym reached to take it.
i didn't let go just yet.
just looked her in the eye.
like real slow...
taking my time...

“give this to the bouncer and say: 'i come in peace, but silent...'”

kym looked up from the card.
past him.
beyond the gray gray sky, even.
she had just about smiled, but then winked an eye.
i had to let the card go.

kym walked on the block, not 10 seconds later, looking up the guy holding tight to his briefcase.
killed me alive all over.
the way some these honeys had always to be on shopping spree.

"o shoot."
it was before 7.
already sold out.
ran into the print shop.
contractor cropped some.
tipped him to lay 'em with hi-def pixel laminate.
got one right here for you now -

so long as we choose, there is the power to do as we wish.
open concerts mainly tho.
mostly this is mainly 'bout throwing concerts to rock the block; one and all, invited.
