I would like to nominate Divergent by Veronica Roth! Its an amazing book about a girl Tris and its becoming a movie! The first challenge she faces is what faction to join- Erudite (knowledge), Abnegatron (selflessness), Dauntless (bravery), Aminty (peacefulness), or Candor (truth).
Spoiler! :
She chooses....
Spoiler! :
DAUNTLESS
That part really makes you wonder where you would be. Then she has to survive ingination, and she falls in love.I'm soooo glad its a trilogy! Its amazing! (Excuse my awful spelling!!) :D :) :smt007

Wonder by R. J. Palacio.

Its the story of a 10 year old boy born with a terrible facial deformity. He's never, not once gone to school, but when the summer rolls to a close, he packs his books and heads off to Beecher Prep Middle School. He makes a few friends and fends off all the terrible comments and looks thrown his way because of how he looks. It's a great story that shows the true meaning of being beautiful and how lasting friendships are the sweetest things in the world.

I absolutely LOVE the book Wonder!!!!! :D I read it and I love love love it!!

My profile name was inspired by that book. O.o
Did you know that???
I cried during the book too. It's beautiful and wondrous.
Even though the girl smiles and laughs doesn't mean that she isn't dead inside.

I suggest any (or all xD) of the Mistborn trilogy by Brian Sanderson! It has fantasy, action, romance, total plot twists-one of the best series I've read in a while! (:
"Everybody stares, as she goes by
'Cause they can see the
flame that's in her eyes
Watch her when she's lighting up the night
Nobody knows that she's a lonely girl
And it's a lonely world
But she gon' let it burn
, baby,burn,baby"

Hey
thanks for the books in PDF. How did you manage to get them? I have been searching constantly for the book 'Skullduggery Pleasant" by Derek Landy and I am unable to find it any where?? But I will read some of the novels suggested above!!

I suggest Animal Farm or 1984 both by George Orwell. Both fantastic books

I read BEFORE I FALL once. It made me uncomfortable.
Sometimes it's nice to just laugh at yourself!
I should know, I do it all the time!

1984 is very, very hard to understand, especially for the younger writers here (13-15). I read it at 15 and I had a lot of trouble understanding some things, but I agree. It is a wonderful book. I also loved Animal Farm! ^^

I love that book so much.

I read both when I was 12. Also, I like One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. Like others, it was hard to understand 1984

I would The Girl Who Could Fly by Victoria Forester. MY FAVORITE BOOK.

Piper lives on her normal farm with her normal ma and pa. But Piper isn't normal. You see, she can fly. When an accident happens at the Fourth of July Picnic, she's whisked away to I.N.S.A.N.E a school for kids like her.
Soon she makes friends with extraordinary powers like telekinesis and X-ray vision. But is all that it turns out to be? Or are there dangerous secrets waiting to be found?
Have your chin up, and speak up.Otherwise, nothing will get done. And what you need to say, will never be heard.Just be confident in what you say, and stand by it

It usually takes more than three weeks to prepare a good impromptu speech.
