It's that time again! Time for another Fiction Workshop!
Are you struggling with Mary Sues and Gary Stus in your writing? Are your main characters just not real enough? Is your heroine's only flaw that she's clumsy and falls in love with dangerous mythical creatures? Well fear no more!
In this month's fiction workshop, we'll be discussing and practicing the art of creating dynamic, realistic main characters and will be hosted by none other than myself (Lauren2010), SmylinG, and JabberHut! So you know these workshops will be packed full of awesome!
Wait, Lauren, did you say workshops? Well yes, hypothetical reader, I did! This month, we're going to be hosting two sessions of the workshop in order to accomodate for time zones and over-filling any single workshop (some people have problems with lag when there's too much awesome in one googledoc!).
The workshops will be held at 2PM GMT and 12AM GMT on Saturday, February 18th (that date applies for people in GMT-5, but it may vary for other timezones). Here is a helpful converter so you know what time it will be in your part of the world.
In order to get an idea of how many people we can expect in each session, please let us know below if you plan on attending, and which session you expect to attend! This is by no means mandatory (you can literally come in three minutes before the workshop and we'd be glad to have you), but it will help give us an idea of what to expect.
Hope to see you there!
EDIT
It occurs to me that there may be some confusion on the timezones. For me, in GMT -5 the workshop times are as follows:
9AM and 7PM
It may seem confusing because of how the times are as listed for GMT (use the converter!), but I should clarify that in GMT they will be 2PM Saturday the 18th, and 12AM Sunday the 19th.
Here is an easier converter to use to determine your time!
