If Novels are a bucket of imagination, Short story is a bucket of imagination made to fit a mug.

Yup. That and DDLJ (the last scene in the train station, especially) really get to everyone.

ALSO. Love Story. *nods*
It's not about the weight of what's spoken.
It's about being heard.

+ every other film I see.

SAME! Lion King is my downfall. As soon as grown-up Simba starts climbing Pride Rock after the big battle, I just lose it.
Also, the last Harry Potter. Something about how much they've all grown up, and grown up with me, just gets me all choked up :')

I don't always write on forums, but when I do, I prefer YWS.

Graveyard of the Fireflies

I didn't cry but it is the closest I have ever been to crying during a movie

@Krzyh,

I totally bawled my eyes out the first time I watched it (when I was 9 :P). I think it has to be the most sad yet touching movies of Studio Ghibli.

Last night, I saw exactly four minutes and five seconds of a comparable anime called Barefoot Gen, the story of a six year old boy who survived the bomb in Hiroshima. After that, I couldn't take it anymore. I spent the rest of the night trying not to cry, because it horrified me so. I still can't get the images out of my head...
