@fortis and @PenguinAttack, resolving to conquer the mighty literary spotlight, set in motion a series of events that would do exactly that. As such, the literary spotlight is now buried in a multi-piece poem, and fortis is the clear ruler of the literary spotlight. Let's hope that power is used for good.

That's probably to help spread the word about the SB. It's not like your followers are notified every time you post a thread.
Heck, I know Nate does that sometimes, and I know I always click to see what thread he liked, because usually it's important

Now I'm tempted to do exactly that, @Fortis. That makes a lot of sense to me - the next time I'm trying to get the word out about my storybooks, I'll do the same! It's a really good strategy. ^_^

(Actually, I was tired and realized I hadn't subscribed to my own SB, and I noticed I hadn't liked it either, so I did both. Normally I don't like my own SBs, but, again, tired. )
