So what if the title doesn't make sense?

Anyways, HAPPY NEW YEARS! I'm celebrating tonight by actually being able to strech my legs after a gruesome five days in the car (went up and down the east coast of the United States... not fun).

So, if you don't mind sharing, what are your New Years resolutions?

Well, here are my resolutions (many borrowed from years past):

1. Go running at least three times a week
2. Finally finish a novel
3. Get published
4. Get a job
5. Graduate!

And finally the hardest:

6. Give up doughnuts (I might end up just doing this one for Lent...)

Nate that avatar is awesome you just can't look at it and not laugh. Anyway, resolutions.........

1. Get the first draft of my novel done
2. Bring my mile time down below 7 minutes

I usually think of more resolutions as the year goes on.

My resolutions are work on my story and not be so lazy. And work on doing my homework and getting better grades.

Mine are write the first chapter of my novel BEFORE I go change everything, get fit, finish said novel, and stop being so hard on myself (this one's definitely the hardest.)

My resolutions?

1) ENJOY LIFE! As simple as it may sound, there have been a few things preventing me from doing so for the past two years. I need to let the past go.

2) Write as much as possible! At this rate I'm not even going to try to finish before the year is over. So I'm making it easy on myself.

I'm sure there are more I'll think of lol. Like maybe running a bit more often and going outside more than once a month! lol I'll add them to the list during the year

1. Get clear skin.
2. Loose 25-30 pounds (size 10, basically)
3. Move to California.

And, above all, make this year better then the last (even though the last year was pretty good, I always say this).

lol. Well, over here in Missouri we've been having rain, too. And we have snow. And ice. And 90+ degrees with heavy humidity... I think I can stand a little rain. You have nothing on me.

Mostly its to be near my sister (who the doctors say may not live to her teenager years due to her tumor [she's 10]), my dad, my college and my significant. Plus I've never been a Missouri girl and this place kinda sucks. I'll be going back to my first home, and that's always nice. =)

Resolutions? Ah...

1) Finish the first draft of three novels (the first one isn't too far off!) while still maintaining
2) Good hygeine,
3) Enough sleep,
4) and Decent Grades.

And that's about it for me. And Tessitore, I'm so sorry for your sister. :(

Am I the only one that doesn't have a writing goal? Oh, I suddenly feel like I'm not... a writer... but I am. Okay, so, for number four:

Write as much as I possibly can while still maintaining homestead, education, exercise, clear skin and moving plans.

There I go. *grin*. I don't suppose I'd ever stop writing or anything. Yeah. Good luck to all ya'll with the novel-like goals, I hope you do well with it all. *tips wine glass*

*Tips beer can* Never did go for wine, myself.

My writing goal was done before New Years, but I thought I'd carry it on.

I have two extra one's now,

3) Be more optimistic

4) Enjoy life a lot more!

I put "publishing" as a resolution once and failed. So I just put it on "life goals" instead. Works for me.

Beer? Ever tried Frambroise? Good belgium beer.

Yeah, I tipped the new year with Yellowtail Shiraz. Happiness is mine. (no I didn't get drunk, family tradition)
