What genre do we prefer?

I left out a poll because there are too many genres and sub genres to mention, lol.
Got YWS? I do.

Fantasy is the one I like. It lets you make up new things and not be criticized for it. Something that's familiar too, like magic, Medieval time period, stuff we've seen before with a twist to it.

I'm open minded. But I'm not too big on complicated fanatsy things. I don't read fantasy, so I need it to be straight-forward enough that I can bluff.

Realistic for me, but I'm up for pretty much anything except fantasy. Sci-fi's kind of low on the list as well.

When you guys say 'Reality' do you mean that 'High-School' type of thing, or do you mean, gritty R-Rated Crime! RPing?

A shorter list would be which genre's I don't want.

Soap Opera (including teen angst)
Fan-fiction of any kind.
Gore driven stories (No vampires, werewolves, zombies, or cute furry animals.)

Here is a list of stuff that would be good.

1. Comedy
2. Fantasy
3. Action Adventure
4. Limited/no magic.

Preferably some combination of the four.

Well, I'm a fan of Necropolis. XD

Eh... Fantasy is okay... I'm not a huge fan of storybook fantasy or sci-fi. I like psychological things, like what we have going in Necropolis right now, focusing mostly on character development. There has to be some obvious issue that needs to be resolved, and to be honest, real-life doesn't have much of that (except worrying about paying the bills and buying gas).

And in my opinion, it can have comedic lines in it, but let's not do a whole spoof.

I say whatever genre we have should lean more towards realistic, possibly with light fantasy or sci-fi to give us an easy objective.

Because, y'know, this post totally helped. XD

Maybe a traveler fantasy? So long as we're not the chosen ones that the prophecy foretold, we should avoid most of the cliche's attached to them.
