Chaotic Romance says...

Hey! First of all, I’m a college student at Georgia Southern University located in Statesboro, GA. Secondly; this is an issue that has affected me and my fellow classmates here in Statesboro. It started last week and it’s slowly getting worse and more and more heated as a group of four Statesboro citizens try to prevent students from voting in the local elections on Tuesday November 6 2007.

I’m sharing this mostly because it might make national news some time soon and what happens here will also affect many college towns like Statesboro (i.e. Athens, Auburn etc).

Here’s some links that describe the situation (I know it’s a lot, but this situation is very serious):

I would just like to know what you think of this. I'm just curious to hear an outsider's point of view.

Personally, I think this affects many people, because whatever the decision to this case is, it can have major affects on college students across the country. And before you say that you are too young for something like this to affect you (because a lot of you are a little too young for college), think again. Because if the decision in this case is against the Georgia Southern student body, then you might find that when you go out of town or out of state for college, you might not be able to vote in the town or city that you go to school. And that is a very scary thought.
