So how did your Valentine's Day go? Was it good? Bad? So-so? Just another day?

It was aaaaaaaaawesome.

I got small boxes of chocolates for my sisters, future stepmother, and mom. Then the guys at school grades 8-10 got together and bought single stem red roses for all the girls 8th-11th grades, and even had some extra flowers put in for the two juniors. It was so sweet. :D

Then my best friend since about third grade came up (she lives in another city now) and we had a date. It was really fun getting to see her.

Ooh, and my sister sent down chocolates and a really cute stuffed hippo.

Plus on Thursday there was all this leftover chocolate. Valentine's Day rocks my socks. :P

I think the day after is the best: discounted chocolate!

I think I had a dentist appointment that morning, and a clarinet lesson, and I still managed to see my boy between that, school, and a mountain load of homework. So yay!

But free chocolate!

We had a snow day.

I got to thus avoid the complications involved in being at school on valentines day and being single. It worked out nicely. I think I spent the day reading, which couldn't have been better.

The next day was like a replacement valentines day for some, seeing as we weren't in school the day of. But still, it would have been much worse otherwise.

(Did that post sound horribly cynical or is that just me?)

It's like V-day never happened! How charming.

Wandered off to visit the beautiful lakes with my beautiful ladyfriend; sun, hills, old castle and abbey ruins, and a lovely dinner out to finish off. Can't beat it!

A bit vague for me. Quiet morning and the possibilty of parties at night - but not too tempting with the company. I ended fencing most of the night. (Put paper-cut hearts on each other's uniforms and lunge! Fencer's sense of humour about the holiday...)

Everyday I'm hustling.

It was alright. I gave Raquel some roses with a greeting card thing, 'cause she hates chocolate. She got a blank deck and painted my name (Nick) along with some really trippy designs and drawings. It was so freakin' awesome! And she gave me a little stuffed skating penguin.

And she also gave me a special note with...interesting words that aren't appropriate for this website.
