Have a poem? Maybe two? Would you like to try a hand at giving and receiving feedback on your poetry along with other YWSers? You can do all that at 'Literally a Workshop' - the Workshop.

Wait, what do you mean?

A workshop is where people can present their poems for live feedback from the other workshop-goers. You can find workshops outside of YWS that do this.

How is this workshop-workshop different from the usual YWS workshop?

There's not really a theme, for one. You can bring along any poem you would like to get some feedback on, on the condition that:

1) It's something you're ready to get critiques on

2) It's family friendly, meaning no extreme violence, for example, or mature content

3) You're just as willing to give feedback on everyone else's poetry!

4) The poem (or poems, in total) is 20 lines or below.

is the date to save. The workshop will last for approximately one and a half hours, but will go over that if we are unable to finish giving feedback on all the poems. As it is super important for everyone to receive equal amounts of feedback, ideally every participant should be able to stay the full time. However, if you suddenly have to head out, that's okay too - real life always comes first!
