If you're looking for a fun way to spend your weekend then look no further and come join our annual Monkeys vs Dragons showdown in the chatroom this Sunday! To celebrate the original mascot wars when Horace the dragon battled Bartemius the monkey for control of the site, we'll be hosting our annual quiz and everyone is welcome to support the team of their choice by donning their team colours and answering questions on literature, general knowledge, YWS and our infamous host. (Yes, that's me!)

Please feel free to ask questions in this thread. Event times below:

Both events will last for about an hour and will use the same questions so while you can attend both, you can only participate in one and will be asked to heckle from the sidelines for the second.

Nobody is around at the moment so I'm going to give it a few more minutes but if it's just a bad time for people, no worries. We have another round in 11 hours!

Okay round 1 has no takers so I'll either re-schedule it for later/ another day or we'll just have one round this year. Obviously it depends on whether dragons win or not

Alas, those pesky monkeys stole the victory this year!! But never fear dragons, we live longer than monkeys so I'm sure we'll get them next time!
