This workshop is a part of
Hello, YWSers! Welcome to another aspect of Spooktober. This one comes as a workshop on building a sense of fear in your readers and setting them up to fall apart right when you want them.
An Example
A fun thing to do could be painting a picture of a lovely family that seems just slightly off, but then they serve their guest with meat they claim to have gotten half-off at the local market. The guest can't help but note a dried, red color on the family's clothes, but they ignore it. It's not like they got their food from rather unsatisfactory means, right? Right?
Who knows! That's up to the author. Maybe you could find a way to continue or change this idea in the workshop
If this peaked your interest, then please consider attending the session that will be run by @concord during Spooktober!
The Times

(Dates and times should be adjusted to your time zone.)
What to expect?
A spooky, fun time to be had by all, plus some activities to help spark that part of your novelist brain that wants to scare your readers.
Maybe you'll learn something about yourself you didn't know before!
Feel free to reply with which time you could possibly make! I can try to plan different things if there are more or fewer users
