With the recent hype surrounding Infinity War, I'm becoming more and move invested in the MCU. So, I have a question for you all: which Marvel movie do you like the best?

I'm a big fan of Guardians of the Galaxy. I saw it right after it first came out and fell in love almost immediately. It took one of my favorite tropes - a bunch of misfits coming together - and fully fleshed out the characters involved in it. The writer in me absolutely adores the symbolism, and the conflicts between the protagonists made them seem like the realistic sort of characters I'd want to write. The movie also set up some suddenly wonderful foreshadowing for the next movie and the MCU as a whole. Rewatching it yesterday made me realize just how much they were teasing the plot of the second volume.

But besides the script, the acting, locations and seventies soundtrack were all superb. I loved how beautiful and bizarre every new place was, and Peter's music reminded me of the songs my dad used to play on the radio when I was a kid.

I only really got into Marvel after watching that movie. If I hadn't, I doubt that I would have made this topic in the first place.

Well, the only one I've seen is Captain America... (I know, I know, shame on me, I'll get around to them eventually. :P) Captain America was pretty great though, so I do definitely want to watch more.

Er, probably Infinity War, actually. Of the single hero ones, I liked Thor: Ragnarok best. But I really love them all. It's hard to pick a favorite.

I really liked Spider-Man: Homecoming! Saw it in theaters twice. Both Guardians of the Galaxy movies are good, too, and I love the whole,,, aesthetic I guess is the word.

Thor: Ragnarok, too.

And that also happens to encompass about half of the Marvel movies I've even seen, so, oops-- *finger guns*

Really not a fan of traditional superhero movies, so I'm definitely gonna say Guardians of the Galaxy, though specifically the second one.

Winter Soldier was pretty cool. I fell asleep during the first Captain America - sorry!

Thor Ragnorok was amazing.

And Black Panther. C'mon. That was incredible.

The Winter Soldier was great. Also, the first Iron Man. It was cool on a different level. Introduced Marvel's Bruce Wayne who had fancy tech toys and Uber cool gadgets. It also kick-started a franchise that eventually led up to the Infinity War.

I would have to say Infinity War is my favourite. It was funny, dramatic and sad all at the same time. Unfortunately most of my fave characters died :(
I'm also a big fan of Thor Ragnarok. It was probably the funniest of the lot.
I expect that Black Panther will make the list when I see it.
Mmm, teatime. I fancy reviews and chips.
