@DemonGoddess I know very little about how clubs work! But, I am happy to be an officer (is that like a "mod of the club" role?) if you need someone to be one. :)

@DemonGoddess How about you just put you and me, since it looks like we're the keenest, or the most available right now? I'm sure it'll work out regardless :)

I don't know how many of you are actively filling this in/keeping track, but those who are, how are you doing now that a few months have passed? :) I know @Cadi at least is keeping track of books read by strangers in public ;)

I've read 14 books this year, but only 10 of those within this challenge. Also as usual, I just read whatever I like and afterwards see if any of the prompts fit, haha. So I'm using this more to keep track of what I've read than as an actual challenge, I guess...

I am 17/50 on the challenge! Plus several rereads I wasn't counting, and one book I couldn't fit into the challenge categories. Most of the 17 were in January, though, and I've run out of the easy ones that I can hit without paying attention to the categories before reading the books...

You're doing super well! How did you read that many in January? I think 3 per month has been my maximum so far!

When I'm really motivated, I devour books at speed! And this challenge was a really good motivation at the start of the year. I might be overestimating how many I got in that month, but it was definitely more in January than in any individual month since...

I've only read 9 books completely, I'm about to finish number 10, but I also Did Not Finish 2... And they both made it onto the list. Does that count?

It's sad because actually one is written by three authors (My Lady Jane) and the other written by one of those three authors (Before She Ignites by Jodi Meadows). I may go back to them but I got 50% of the way through My Lady Jane and it hadn't improved at all :(

Updated! And bumped for your convenience!

I find it so hard to fit the books I read into categories!

Ohh, I have so fallen behind on this. Still at 19/50 (plus 5 books I've read but couldn't fit into a category, plus a ton of rereads, which I'm not counting towards the challenge...)

There are still a few months left of the year, so perhaps I can pull it back! There are a few books I bought with the intention of reading for this challenge, but never got around to actually picking up:

* Whomever Fights Monsters for #2
* Burial Rites for #5
* Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter for #6
* Why I'm No Longer Talking To White People About Race for #49

Has anyone got any good recommendations for books which fit one of the categories?

I admit I've fallen dreadfully behind with this and may have forgotten it existed. But maybe I can pick up a book or two at the local library over my upcoming winter break and see if it matches any of the criteria~

Eh heh heh I have completely forgotten this and have given this up for a lost cause. But next year, no fear! I shall try again in 2019.
