I'm a pretty go with the flow, planning-averse kind of person, so I've never really put much thought into what kind of things would be on my bucket list. But after getting inspired reading some travel blogs it's been something I've been musing over.

And because I'm nosy, I'd like to know what's on you guys' bucket lists! What accomplishments do you want to achieve, what places do you want to visit, what experiences would you like to have?

Just in case this is a new term to you, a bucket list is (as defined by trusty Google)
a number of experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime.

ie, before they "kick the bucket"

I'll get the ball rolling with mine:
1- Travel the Trans-Siberian Railway from Moscow to Vladivostok (ties into my dream of one day buying a one way ticket from Australia to somewhere in Europe then slowly making my way back overland through Asia)
2- Become fluent in French (currently in progress!) and learn more languages
3- Do a working holiday visa somewhere (Chile, Germany and Canada are all appealing to me at the moment)
4- Learn to sew properly and/or knit
5- Go on exhange in my third year of university

Now tell me yours, oh lovely people of YWS!
if we wait until we're ready
we'll be waiting
for the rest of our lives

I can help you with #4! Well, the knitting part at least.

Some things on my bucket list:
*Go on an African safari and see a wild lion
*Touch a lion
*Meet Emma Watson, JK Rowling, John Green, Hayley Williams
*Visit every country in Central America
*See all of the Harry Potter stuff in the UK
*Go to Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines
*Become traditionally published, have a best-selling book
*Skydive
*Cage dive (like with sharks)
*Go to where the land meets the sky in Bolivia
*See the Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil

I know I have a pinterest board with other bucket list items and the more I think about it the more I'll think of, so I'll stop there for now :p
It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.

My bucket list:

1. Get published, though maybe this doesn't count because it's more of a career goal.
2. Tour Europe. I really, really want to visit Europe.
3. Go skydiving.
4. Go scuba diving.
5. Go skiing. (Yes, I've never been. My parents don't like skiing.)
6. Go below the Equator.
7. Go to New Zealand and see Hobbiton.
8. Let's be honest here I just want to tour as much of the world as I can.
9. Go to Disney World and Universal Studios.
10. See the Piano Guys and/or Lindsey Stirling live.
11. Go to conventions! And meet authors. :D

...And probably lots of others, so I'll stop there.
We're all stories in the end.

I think of you as a fairy with a green dress and a flower crown and stuff.

I think you, @Deanie and I are like the Three Book Nerd Musketeers of YWS.

@Mea PIANO GUYS <3

- travel all over the hecking place
- achieve fluency in French and Spanish (and maybe a few more languages)
- have a novel traditionally published or, you know, like several, and it'd be cool if fame and fortune came along with that
- live in the country again, in a house with more kitchen space nearly impossible for it not to have a bigger kitchen
- GET MY DEGREE but I'm actually working on that right now, I've started looking at schools and everything so I'm planning to go back next year

I can probably think of more, but those are sort of the big ones that I think about frequently.

@Mea I love Lindsey Stirling!
Mmm, teatime. I fancy reviews and chips.
