Has anybody heard of this?
Its kind of like turning an urban landscape into a scatepark, but without any scates. hard to explain, free form obsticle coursing. running around a city, jumping fences, climbing walls, rooftop to rooftop. I'd love to learn the stuff they do.
For centuries, theologians have been explaining the unknowable in terms of the-not-worth-knowing.

never heard of it. and the stuff you do is so much cooler than what they do, i'm sure. it doesn't sound like it takes a whole lot of skill, just a whole lot of balls and a little brain.

well, if you'd see some of this stuff, you'd think otherwise. theres a lot of martial arts incorporated into it. the guy who started the sport follows Jeet Kun Do very closely. its a lot of acrobatics and gymnastics, with martial arts philosiphy and technique, not to mention the hardcorps discapline. Jacky Chan does this kinda stuff in most of his movies.

Yeah, I heard about this a couple of years ago in a magazine. Mostly on how hot the guys are? Or something. But these people hang off of streetlights and jump around on subways. Dropkick walls. It seems pretty awesome.

But it looks class.

I'm a freerunner, i've been doing it for years but never have had the balls to do a back-jump (running up a wall then backflipping off) I'm a pretty good monkey vaulter though. Word of warning, if you're gonna' do it, don't go for those big jumps/tricks first, it's suicide. learn to balance first, after that you can do anything.

And wear gloves, i had tons of blisters and cuts the first few months.

Yeah I read an article about it a little while ago, and it looks absolutely fantabulous! I could never do it, though, as I'm not nearly brave (not to mention athletic) enough. *sigh*
