So, I'll confess! I love the holiday cheer! And lights! And sounds.
So, what are your favourite holiday songs? I'll start:

Probably one of my faves, from among pop:

I love Christmas music. Seriously, I have to stop myself from listening to it when it's not Christmas. I love both Christian Christmas music and secular Christmas, and I listen to it both instrumental and with lyrics.

Favorite Christian: O Holy Night, What Child is This?, Still Still Still, Joy to the World, Silent Night and Hallelujah (the spiritual version, though I like the original too). I have a hard time singing the first two because I choke up whenever I try. They're just so beautiful.

Favorite Secular: Winter Wonderland, Let it Snow, Sleigh Ride, basically all the classic, overly-cheerful ones. What can I say, I use Christmas as an excuse to be obnoxiously happy. :D
We're all stories in the end.

https://g.co/kgs/nIw7BB is my alltime favorite.

very close seconds are "All I Want For Christmas is You" (the Michael Buble version), "Underneath the Tree" by Kelly Clarkson, "I'll Be Home" by Meghan Trainor, "Snow Globe" by Matt Wertz, and "Please Come Home For Christmas".

plus all the classics.

disclaimer: I'm really bad at picking favorites

edit: omg pinch me I almost forgot "White Winter Hymnal" by Pentatonix (disclaimer2: I can sing the harmonies and do some of the clapping routine just not at the same time)

I don't listen to very many Christmas songs, especially not traditional ones. This is more what I listen to on Christmas, the first not as much as the others:

Jesus Christ- Brand New

Christmas Will Break Your Heart- LCD Soundsystem

Paired with that but not as much Christmas related is New York, I Love You but You're Bringing Me Down- LCD Soundsystem.

Sober to Death- Car Seat Headrest.

Again, more of my personal songs that I listen to on Christmas, Carol of the Bells is probably the closest I get to actual Christmas songs.

I love all the Xmas songs. I'm not religious, but the melodies are so beautiful and happy <3. I will listen to them all year long!

Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost."

So no matter how much I pretend to hate Christmas music (I just dislike how early they start playing it) I in fact really love it. Couple of reasons behind it is
1. I know the words to most of the classics
2. I can sing pretty well compared to the rest of the grandchildren and cousins in my age group
3. I can play a couple of them on the piano. Not these two but a few of them.

O Holy Night and White Winter Hymnal immediately come to mind as my favorites, but almost all Christmas music puts me in a good mood.

It's always been a Christmas tradition to watch Polar Express at Christmas time; that's why When Christmas Comes to Town has to be one of my favorite Christmas songs. It's beautiful and really captures the Christmas spirit, while it also just means a lot to me in regards to some of my happiest memories. ^_^
