To be honest I have written off the movie awards in general(yes all of them) I think its all a joke.
That said I would really like to see Stallone win. He has been working hard in the industry for many many years. His acting has been hit or miss, sometimes good sometimes awful. But I think hard work and longevity count for something and I would be happy if he finally was recognized at the highest level.

If only we had a user named "Octopus" and made them predict the wins. :P

I'd love to do some of my own predictions here, but the problem is I haven't seen any of the nominated movies. Hell, I still have last years nomination to catch up with. Because the movies that get nominated don't get released internationally until the results for Oscar comes out-Me thinks. Or at least a day before the Oscars. So all we have to do is wait till the results come out or watch the movies from pirated CDs, and that's how I saw "The Danish girl" Because, honestly, I'm pretty sure The Indian Censor Board would have made the two hours movie to one hour. What you call art, they call inappropriate. You could basically make your five year old cousin watch the Indian version of the recent James Bond movie. Because, there's nothing in it, not even the story line.

So yea, pirated CDs :pirate2: or torrent download. Because, let's be real, Blu-rays would probably leave me bankrupt.

BUT! Leonardo DiCaprio all the way! :smt023
