The Four
Element Challenge

Everyone knows that, despite what the periodic table says, there are only four elements: fire, water, earth, and air; however, those of us on YWS who remained sceptic of this notion decided to hire a veritable pantheon of scientists to investigate the elements of the YWS world.

And, just in time for Review Day, our answers have come in!

According to this very scientific data, the four YWS elements are Articles, Novels, Poetry, and Short Stories.

Those of us who want to test out this theory have devised a trial to test your mastery of the YWS elements. It's so simple, even a monkey could d--sorry, forgot Nate was listening. During Review Day, it is your challenge to review at least one of each of the four YWS elements. Since we are lazy scientists, we'll have you record your data for us. Simply post in this thread with something akin to the following:

Code: Select all
Article/Essay: Link to review here.
Novel: Link to review here.
Poetry: Link to review here.
Short Story: Link to review here.

Those who prove masters of the four YWS elements will receive a fantastic--and cute--prize.

-Scientists of YWS

"Writing, though, belongs first to the writer, and then to the reader, to the world.

The subject is a catalyst, a character, but our responsibility is, has to be, to the work."
