I have an idea now and I'm so excited!!
Is it in bad taste to make a NaPo thread now?!? AHHH!!!

@pretzelsing
I too did not think I was good at poetry, but I did NaPo one year to be cool to challenge myself. The great thing about NaPo is it opens the door for some experimentation, and even if you only have word vomit put into some weird format some days, you might discover that there is a kind of poetry you're just a straight up boss at. I'm really good at some imagery poems, for instance.
No pressure though. Just thought I'd share as someone who prefers prose as well ^-^

I can't wait for NaPo. I'll have to try to think of a theme P: Or maybe just do randomness again. Who knows.

@megsug you have me the push that I needed. I stopped trying to write poetry but I will do NaPo this year just experimental (and I might not show anyone my works) but I will try to develop my artistic writing abilities and expand them into poetry. Thanks meg!

No theme this year, just trying to make it to 30 (I've done NaPo a couple times, but I don't think I ever completed.

Though now that I'm thinking about it, I might consider a "numbers" theme, where I write about (or at least reference) the number 1 in my first poem, number 2 in the second, etc. Eh, we'll see.

I'm totally not ready, but maybe inspirational gifs will help?
