When I saw it in chat, it was obviously blue and black for me. Look at it just now, it was white and gold ( I just woke up so I think what Sun and Zolen are saying about the eyes is about right ). The thing is though, the dress slowly turned from white and gold to blue and black before my eyes. O.O

I see as brown and white most of the time, but if I just look at the bottom half, it's light purple and brown. Once I almost got it to change to purple and black, but not quite.

Looking at the original image, I can only see white and gold. Or at best light blue and gold. Sometimes if I squint I can see blue and brown, but not black.

ETA: When I closed my eyes before opening the link, it was blue and black at first, but then it faded right back into white and gold.

Also I learned that the original dress is a) actually blue and black (though it comes in different colors) and b) comes in plus sizes. Maybe I'll get the dress in a different color and really confuse my hypothetical date. :P

This dress has caused a lot of stress for my household.

My dad sees white and brown.
I see light blue and light brown.
Ricky sees blue and black, but his first answer was green. (He looked so scared when I asked him that. Fear was in his eyes. He's seen what the dress has done to people.)

I quizzed my grandmother. She said blue and black as well. Though when she first looked at it, it was tan.

I don't understand why this is such a huge debate online. It's a dress. The original poster has said that it was an experiment, and that the original is white and gold.

I just found the post on Tumblr. It was originally black and blue. The mother of the bride at a wedding was wearing it. It would be wrong for her to wear white on her daughter's wedding day. XD

When I look at just the top of the dress, I see how it could be seen as white and gold, but when I look at the whole thing, or especially just the bottom, it looks blue and black to me. ^^;
