@Charizard821, hello!

Word Wars is a YWS famous chat game. Usually, someone will walk into chat and ask if anyone wants to word war. If a lot of people say yes, then a time limit is set. Normally 15-30 minutes, you've got to keep an eye on the clock. Someone is usually the timekeeper, who yells "GO!" and "TIME!" at the appropriate moments.

What you do is you write! Write write write until time is up. Then the person with the most amount of words wins. :) make sense? It's meant to be a fun and spontaneous exercise for the muse.

Does that help?

Yes that helps, thank you. I only ask because I've always played a different version of the game.

I will make an actual cake. Or, at least, some mini cupcakes.
I don't have a signature.

Spoiler! :
Bet you didn't see that coming...

What's the Dragon vs Monkeys thing about?
Dreams sprout tall so beautiful
to wither and fall off
Old and dusty, creaky and rough
This clockwork will not rest

@MarbleToast --

It's a long going YWS tradition: who is the supreme mascot if yws? You pick a side and myself and @Rydia are going to be asking a series of random questions! Usually it's four or five rounds, with five questions each and a bonus question for a certain amount of points.

People will enter chat and pick a color: red for monkeys and green for dragons.* once you've established your team, the game will begin! At the end, the team with the most amount of points wins.

Make sense? :)

*= either red is for dragons and green is for monkeys, or vise versa... @Rydia, help >_>

xD Red is for monkeys and green is for dragons! The way to remember it is you can get a reddish looking monkey, but have you ever seen a green one? :P

I'm sorry, I had to xD

Iggy, try following some sort of Slytherin-reptile-dragon-green logic.. or just think of our admins as monkeys ;)
