I'm a big fan of it, as I do read quite a bit. There are sometimes where I don't want to read a book but I want to know about it, read a book I didn't understand what it meant, or I absolutely love a book and want to relive it. Wikipedia doesn't explain that well, and forums are filled with the book's "know-it-alls". What do?
Thug Notes. Thug Notes is the answer.
Thug Notes is a YouTube show hosted by Sparky, who is an original gangster who loves classic literature. He provides analysis of books and summaries while keepin' it real.
From Slaughterhouse Five to The Giver, he keeps it modern and "old", for lack of a better word. I personally love Wisecrack (the channel) and Thug Notes is one of my favorite things on YouTube.
If you haven't seen it, you should. Below is To Kill A Mockingbird, the most popular edition. *language warning*
