I enjoy using Papyrus, Cambria, Times New Roman, or Centaur. And for a little decoration, Bookworm. Forgive me if I got any of the names wrong, please? :3
I tend to lean towards typewriter settings such as Courier New, or East Syriac Adiabene. (And yes, I did look up the correct name for that. )
However, if I have to be fancy or invite someone to a tea party, I'll generally use handwritten styles like: Informal Roman, Vivaldi, Lucida Handwriting (or Lucida Calligraphy).
Non-fancy handwriting would be Freestyle Script.
There are too many variables though. If, say, someone was from the Mediterranean, I would use Aegean, obviously. I like to experiment I guess.
