Firefox also says "dialogue" isn't a word, so go figure.

I was never really sure which way it goes. I'd heard that blonde is feminine, blond is masculine(/general), but I rarely put it into practice. I usually just use "blonde."

I'm learning French right now, and at the end of adjectives, (for females) they add an 'e' at the end of it. I think that's right. So.

Blonde = female

Blond = male, or any undetermined sex.

Yeah.

Would love help on this.

Well in french, it would be blond and blonde, because of the sex difference, but in America we do nothing of the kind.
I use blonde in most of my writing..
though the spell check on here says it's not right!

I use "blonde" regardless of what the actual rules are. I hate it when SpellCheck changes it from "blonde" to "blond". It annoys me, and that's why I rarely have SpellCheck on while I'm typing.

I use "blonde" because "blond," to me, just looks...naked.

I've actually always understood the difference as "blonde" being a noun, almost always female, and "blond" being the adjective.

"There's this blond guy in my class."
"I was never really into blondes until..."
"DUDE, hot blonde at twelve o'clock!"

Etc.
